CHAPTER 115 (Last Chapter)

Imee's POV
I'm arranging my clothes coz tomorrow is my flight going back to New York. And right now I'm having FaceTime with Bella. Napakakulit pa din. She keep on reminding me about her pasalubong. She miss speedy noodles na daw kasi galing dito sa Pilipinas eh.

Honestly ayoko talagang bumili pero pinakiusapan ako ni Mommy kaya wala na akong nagawa. Hayst! Kung hindi lang talaga ako mabuting anak, hindi ako bibili. Hahayaan ko talagang magtampo ang batang yun.

While Manang is helping me putting my clothes in my suitcase, the telephone ring. Manang answer the phone and when she told me na ako ang gustong kausap, lumapit na ako agad.

*On call

Imee: Yes? Who is this?

Steffie: I-It's Steffie Laurel, Imee.

When I hear those words, I told Manang na lumabas na muna which she nodded and went out of my room right away.

Imee: Why?

Steffie: Can I ask a favor?

Imee: What?

Steffie: Please, Imee. I know hindi dapat kita kinakausap but I'm doing this for Rod, for my family.

Imee: Tahimik na ang buhay ko, Steffie. Dalawang taon na din ang nakakalipas kaya pwede ba — (didn't finish her words coz Steffie speak up)

Steffie: He still love you.

Honestly I wasn't shock when I hear those words. But I don't know, I remained silent coz I don't really know what to say.

Steffie: Alam ko naman yun eh. Kahit kelan hindi talaga kita mapapalitan sa puso niya. Do you want him back?

Imee: Ayokong manira ng pamilya, Steffie.

Steffie: If that's the case, talk to him.....For the last time Imee, talk to him.

Imee: Bakit pa?

Steffie: Dahil hanggang ngayon nasasaktan pa din siya. There are things that you guys need to talk about. Please Imee, do this for us. Do this for her daughter.

After Steffie tell those words, I immediately ended the call. I check my wristwatch and it's already 4pm palang so I'm thinking if I should consider Steffie's favor.

"Dad, kailangan ko ba talagang gawin 'to? Kailangan ba talagang magkita kami ulit? Jeezzz! I really don't know what to do. Please give me a sign".

Minutes had pass, Manang came in while holding a shirt.

Manang: Anak, ito pala yung pinapahanap ni Bella na damit niya. Naiwan niya noong nagbakasyon sila last year.

When Manang show me the shirt, may nakasulat na "YES!" which made me huff and sit on my bed.

Manang: Oh bakit, nak?

Imee: Nandyan po ba si Manong?

Manang: Oo, nak. Katatapos lang linisan yung sasakyan. Bakit?

Rod's POV
I just finish my work and right now I'm heading to the cafe to buy a coffee. Medyo nakaka-stress kasi sa trabaho ngayon so I've decided na magpalipas na muna ng oras before going home.

While looking for a parking area, my phone ring. It's Franky so I immediately answer it.
