"Come on Aurora you look fine." Willow repeated for the 50th time. The girls had been in the bathroom for about half of the train ride to Hogwarts.

"Yes let go already." Pansy said.

"I don't want to look fine, I want to look perfect." Aurora said applying more mascara to her eyelashes.

Willow hadn't even seen the rest of her friends, once she got on the train Aurora dragged her to the bathroom. Willow leaned against the wall and waited for her friend to stop obsessing over her makeup.

"Wills will you grab my bag and look for my lipstick?"

"Sure," Willow reached into her friend's bag and searched for her lipstick, but she couldn't find it.

"It not in here." Willow said.

"It has to be!" Aurora grabbed the bag and started rummaging through it. "Oh no, what am I gonna do!"

"You're fine Aurora." Willow complained .

"Let's just go." Pansy whinnied again.

"NO!! I need to look good for when we get our first letters!" Aurora said. Today they would be receiving their first soulmate letters and the two girls were rather stressed about it.

"Oi, let me in!" Charlotte's voice came from the other side of the bathroom door. Willow rushed to the door and threw it open.

"Look what I found." Charlotte held up Aurora's lipstick.

"Oh thank you Char." Aurora grabbed it and started applying it in the mirror.

"Now can we go?" Pansy whined crossing her arms.

"Yes." Charlotte said and they all left the bathroom.

Suddenly it got quite cold and it felt as though the train had stopped. It had gotten rather dark as well. Willow's anxiety started to rise even more.

"What going on?" Pansy whined grabbing onto Willow's arm.

"I don't know but let's go find the boys."

"I don't like this," Willow said holding onto Charlotte as she guided them through the darkened hall.

"Lumos." Charlotte said and her wand lit up the abandoned corridor. Then there was a scream which caused Willow to scream. After a few moments the lights turned back on and the train started back up.

The four girls made their way to where the boys were but Draco was missing. Willow collapsed onto the bench next to Theo.

"Willow can you take your cat back?" Blaise complained as Ophelia laid asleep on his lap. Even though Blaise hated Ophelia. Ophelia seemed to love him.

"Just give her a minute Blaise." Charlotte said.

How you feeling Wills?" Charlotte asked.

"Physically, mentally, or emotionally, because all are not so great right now, I'm freaking out."

"Maybe some water will help." Charlotte reached over for a water bottle.

"Welcome!" Dumbledore said. "Welcome to another year at Hogwarts! I have a few things to say to you all, and as one of them is very serious, I think it best to get it out of the way before you become befuddled by our excellent feast..."

Dumbledore cleared his throat and continued, "As you will all be aware after their search of the Hogwarts Express, our school is presently playing host to some of the Dementors of Azkaban, who are here on Ministry of Magic business."

"They are stationed at every entrance to the grounds," Dumbledore continued, "and while they are with us, I must make it plain that nobody is to leave school without permission. Dementors are not to be fooled by tricks or disguises — or even Invisibility Cloaks,"

"It is not in the nature of a Dementor to understand pleading or excuses. I therefore warn each and every one of you to give them no reason to harm you. I look to the prefects, and our new Head Boy and Girl, to make sure that no student runs afoul of the Dementors." he said.

"On a happier note," he continued, "I am pleased to welcome two new teachers to our ranks this year.

"First, Professor Lupin, who has kindly consented to fill the post of Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher."

"As to our second new appointment," Dumbledore continued as the applause for Professor Lupin died away.

"Well, I am sorry to tell you that Professor Kettleburn, our Care of Magical Creatures teacher, retired at the end of last year in order to enjoy more time with his remaining limbs. However, I am delighted to say that his place will be filled by none other than Rubeus Hagrid, who has agreed to take on this teaching job in addition to his gamekeeping duties."

"And for the soulmate letters," Dumbledore said and then flicked his hand as the owls flew in.

Willow froze, it was happening and she was about to find out her first clue about her soulmate. The first letter would say a letter in her soulmate's name. The owls flooded the great hall dropping letters.

Willow watched as one flew down from the sky and landed on her plate. She carefully picked it up and saw her name printed on the front in fancy ink. She opened the letter and pulled out a small scarp of paper with an R on it.

"What did you get Willow?" Hannah asked.

"I got a R, what about you,"

"F." Hannah said all hopeless romantic like.

"This is so exciting!" Susan said as she showed everyone her letter G.

Willow had a thought that her soulmate may even be in this room.

Draco started down at his letter he had mixed feelings about these letters. He pulled it open and looked down and saw a B written in a bold writing.

"Look Charlotte I got A!" Parkinson said flashings the paper in Charlotte's face.

"I got a S." Zabini said.

"Q, what name has Q in it?" Nott said.

"Quinn, Quincy, Quintessa,"  Zabini said.

"Those aren't even really names." Nott said.

"What did you get Malfoy?" Harrison asked.

"B." Draco said.
