POV: Swamp

Anger was the only thing that Swamp could fear, and felt himself losing control of his own body. The wind started to pick up as the vines wrapped around Volatus's body.

Kadupul and Currere were trying to get his attention, but he couldn't exactly hear them.

*So, this is what a Blind Rage feels like from the inside.* Swamp thought to himself. The Swamp Monster never experienced the Blind Rage before and often put down other Great Beasts for falling prey to it. *I guess karma finally came back at me.*

Volatus was gasping for air as Swamp finally tossed the Griffin towards the mountain that the cave systems had. However, he fell on the southern of the mountain. This way no one could get in the way. Swamp ran over to the mountains being one with the wind. He wasn't as face as the Great Beasts connected to the wind, but he felt close. Volatus was getting up as the Swamp Monster finally reached him.

"Haha," Volatus had the nerve to chuckle. "If a mere Runt can't beat me. What do you think a lonely Creature like you can do?" The Griffin taunt him as he stood up.

The Griffin's strange white wings appeared to be broken. However, Swamp knew that didn't mean much. After all, Physical Strengths are not called Physical for anything. This class was built for battle. Even the smallest of the species are able to withstand fighting creatures three times their size.

Swamp didn't speak as the vines started to crawl the Griffin up again. The rain started to fall as dark clouds filled the sky. He didn't know what was going on but couldn't stop. Nothing matters anymore.

The Swamp Monster didn't know Prince Rex for long and knew the price for the challenge of the throne. However, he couldn't accept the result. Rex didn't deserve to die.

"You do realize. You will be banished for this, right? I kill Rex fair and square. This is treason!!" Volatus started to cough as the vine got tighter.

Swamp was gathering the water around him to create an ice dagger. Swamp's eyes turned red as he stared at the black Griffin, and for a moment he was hesitant.

*Was this really the right thing?* Swamp wondered as his rage started to shift. *Rex wouldn't want this.*

Volatus eyes widen with disbelief from seeing the water becoming ice. "I can't believe it!!!" He managed to say from the vines. His voice was struggling, but the words still came out clear. "You're a Trabea Sanguis (Blood Shifter), aren't you?"

Swamp was taken aback by the comment.

Trabea Sanguis were basically beings that could use the blood from others to use magic at their command. Trabea Sanguis is generally part of the Spiritual Strength. However, it is not limited to that class.

Swamp had a faint memory of an old man of the Acer Swamp that was a Blood Shifter. He taught him how to use that kind of magic. Before this meeting, he always thought it was only in that class. Swamp was surprised to discover that Trabea Sanguis was the expectation. Creatures that used blood to gain magic can be in any class or none at all.

Trabea Sanguis is not a species, not a tribe, but individuals. They used others' blood for magic.

But there was another way.

The old man taught Swamp that where the blood came from didn't matter. All is matter is the Energy level.

"You will be more than banished!!! You will be killed!!!" Volatus said with a laugh but started coughing as the vines got even tighter.

Swamp growled. "You know Blood Shifting got its name from the Water Elements. It was only outlaw because others discovered that the blood of creatures can be used to create magic." He paused. "There is more to this ability than just using blood to gain magic."Volatus gave him an odd look.
