Harper placed her tray down in her normal spot at the Hellfire club table, right next to Eddie. He sent her a slightly concerned look before leaning forward toward the magazine he was reading.

"The Devil has come to America." Eddie read in a deep voice, the same one he used for villains in D&D, "Dungeons and Dragons, at first regarded as a harmless game of make-believe, now has both parents and psychologists concerned." He tilted back and forth while he read, mocking the author, "Studies have linked violent behavior to the game, saying it promotes satanic worship," He tilted the magazine down slightly looking at Hellfire from over the pages, "ritual sacrifice, sodomy, suicide..." He started raising his voice, "and even... MURDER!" He stuck his tongue out, slamming the magazine on the table.

Harper let out a little chuckle at the words that were written, "Do people really believe this sh*t?" She glanced over as she saw Mike and Dustin sit down nervously.

"Society has to blame something." Stan pointed out, "We're an easy target."

"Exactly." Eddie crossed his arms, "We're the freaks because we like to play a fantasy game." He turned towards Harper quickly and then back to the other boys, "But!" He slapped his hand on the table before standing up, "As long as you're into band," Eddie climbed up on the table, looking around at the people in the cafeteria, "or science... or partiesss." He said glancing over at the party table. One guy wearing sunglasses flipped Eddie off causing him to chuckle before he cupped his hands around his mouth leaning forward slightly, "or a game where you toss balls into laundry baskets!" He yelled and looked pointedly over at Jason and his table.

A couple of heckling remarks were made toward Eddie before Jason stood up, "You want something freak?" He asked angrily.

Eddie flung his hands up to his head, making little devil horns with his fingers while sticking his tongue out and making a noise, causing the entire Hellfire table to chuckle.

Eddie smirked before dropping his hands and turning back around, "It's forced conforming." Eddie said before walking back over the table to his seat, "That's what's..." He hopped off the table in front of a nerdy-looking girl, "-killing the kids!" He exclaimed, startling her. He quickly moved out of the way, gesturing for two cheerleaders to walk by with a smirk on his face, "That's the real monster."

"So uh..." Dustin started, slightly nervous, "-speaking of monster." He glanced up at Eddie who was chewing on his food and giving the boy a deadpan look, "Uhh... Lucas has to do his uh, balls-in-laundry-baskets game." Dustin pointed to Eddie, referring to what he said moments ago, "So... he's not gonna be able to make it to Hellfire tonight." Dustin laughed nervously.

Harper turned to look at the other boys, she shared a look with Gareth before taking a glance at Eddie whose vibe seemed thrown off.

"And, I know there's no way we can beat your sadistic campaign without him because he has the other key..." Dustin spoke once more, "So me and Mike, we were talking, shooting the sh*t, and we were thinking that maybe we might..." Dustin stuttered, not getting to the point.

"Postpone." Mike finished for him.

The table went up in outrage, "Postpone!" Gareth yelled, "Can't just drop this on us!"

Harper let out a groan, "Are you guys kidding me?!" She growled.

"Over my dead body!" Stan said.
