*KNOCK KNOCK*
Wei Ying opened his eyes hearing somebody pound on the door...
"Go a...way...Isn't ma...king lo...ud noises in Clo..ud rece..sses ban...ned...?"
He muttered snuggling closer to his warm blanket...

But as soon as he did that he felt that something was off about his blanket...

For one this was the first time he had wrapped himself around such a rock hard blanket...
And then it moved...

"Whaaa..."
Wei Ying opened eyes reaching out to unsheath his sword...

"Wei Ying..."
Lan Zhan called him...

Wei Ying opened his eyes and sprang up...
"I can explain..."
He said to Lan Zhan shocked about wrapping his every limb around the man...

"Wait you aren't angry...?"
Wei Ying asked looking at Lan Zhan who was looking at him with a faint smile...

"No...Why would I be...?"
Lan Zhan replied sitting up as well...
"Did Wei Ying sleep well...?"
He asked...

"Of course I did...best sleep in long time...this works..."
Wei Ying said gesturing to them in bed together...

"Hmm..."

*KNOCK KNOCK*
"Hanguang Jun...Lan Zongzhu is asking for you..."
Somebody called from outside...

"Ok...I'll be there soon..."
Lan Zhan said from inside...

Wei Ying looked outside the window to see that the sun was shining bright...
Meaning it was way past the time Lan Zhan woke up...

Hell it looked like it was about to be 10 or 11...It was way waaay past the time Lan Zhan woke up which was at 5 am in the morning...

Wei Ying shook his head horrified...
"Good gracious...Why didn't you wake me up Lan Zhan...?"

"Wei Ying had so much trouble sleeping in the beginning...I didn't want to wake Wei Ying up so early once Wei Ying managed to sleep..."
Lan Zhan said to him seriously...

Wei Ying looked at Lan Zhan with narrowed eyebrows...
"That's not an excuse...You would get punished because me..."
Wei Ying said...

"I don't mind punishments..."
Lan Zhan said softly wanting to put Wei Ying at ease...

"BUT I DO OK...?especially when I'm the reason you are getting punished..."
Wei Ying snapped as this conversation reminded him of his nightmare...

*******

"I dare ask...Who is right and who is wrong...?Who is black...?Who is white...?"
Lan Zhan asked him...

"Perfect...That is the good student that I taught and prided in..."
Lan Qiren spat angrily...

"Wanji...You have disappointed me so much..."
He said to him in a sad voice...

"Wei Ying...?"
Lan Zhan called him worried about his sudden outburst...

Wei Ying took a deep breath to calm himself...He reached out to cup Lan Zhan's face, but then awkwardly let his hand fall...

"I care for you Lan Zhan...The mere thought of you in pain is heart-wrenching for me...It will be so much worse if I'm the reason you are in pain in the first place..."
Wei Ying said to him...

"I would never blame Wei Ying..."
Lan Zhan said to him...

"I know...And that is the worst..."
Wei Ying said with a sigh...
He placed his hand on Lan Zhan's chest...
