Evelyn's Pov

Looking down at Katherine who is now begging to me with her knees bent down and her hand touching my shoes, Thomas became furious of this so He pushed her down. Anne pulled me back quickly "How dare you beg infront of us, after what you did to all the innocent people" He said angrily.

Vanessa tried to release from the grip of the guards to go to Katherine who is in the ground "No! Don't hurt her please, she is just not right in her mind!" She said loudly as tears in her eyes to see her daughter begging and as Thomas was about push her again, I stopped him quickly and everybody gasped at my movement.

Thomas looked up to me, I just held his hand before letting them go as I walk infront of Katherine "Why did you do that?" I asked her gently, Katherine kept on staring blankly at the ground "I love Thomas and I'd do anything for him to be mine" She replied, I saw Thomas clenched his fist "I told you that I am already married, yo-" I cutted him off.

"Hey, Thomas. You should leave her alone and everyone please be gone" I said while looking to the crowd of servants and guards who quickly nodded and looked down before bowing down then left the hallways "Anne, please go too" I said while looking at her as she hesitant to not leave me but I warned her and she quickly nodded before going back to her room.

As the guards released Vanessa who quickly hugged Katherine, I looked up to Thomas who's already looking at me as he shook his head "I'm not gonna leave you" He said, I sighed before turning around and looked down at them "Katherine, stand up" I said and they both stood up "Your Majesty, forgive my daughter for trying to accuse you as thi-" Thomas cutted her off "She didn't tell you to speak, did she?" He asked.

Vanessa shook her head before holding Katherine's arm, I held Thomas and give him a small nod "Can you give us a moment?" I asked, Thomas just shook his head and I sighed. "Please?" I asked politely, Thomas shake his head again "I don't want leaving you here with these enemies of mine" He said while glaring them 2.

I held his arms "Please?" I pleaded again, Thomas looked away and crosses his arms "5 minutes" He said, I nodded and opened the door inside my chamber as Katherine and Vanessa walked inside, closing the door behind and I turned around "Sit down, please" I said, they both looked at each other before sitting down the couch.

I sat infront of them, looking at them both "You know he's already married, right?" I asked, Katherine nodded "Yes" She said simply, I furrowed my brows "Then why are you still trying to make him yours?" I asked curiously, Katherine held her hand tightly "Because I love him and I cannot give up my love ones easily" She replied.

Looking at her before down the table "Why do you hate me so much?" I asked curiously, Vanessa held her daughter's hand before she answered "You stole him away from me" She whispered lowly, I shook my head and looked up to her "Did he once told you that it's his dream to find his true love?" I asked randomly guessing it, Katherine nodded slowly.

I smiled slightly, I knew he was that kind of kid to tell someone. They were once close friends "Do you love him that dearly?" I asked with a warm smile, Katherine nodded "Of course" She replied. "You must let him go, not because he don't love you back but because you are hurting yourself if you dont let go" I said while looking at her.

Katherine looked hit inside but she kept silent "It's not that easy, it's impossible" She said, I shook my head "Nothing is impossible, Just difficult. Take your time to let go of your feelings, Just now that I am here to help you" I said while hesitating but I held her hand gently, Katherine looked up to me with her teary eyes before nodding her head as she stood up and pulled me up before pulling me into her tight hug.

I gasped and just returned a widely smile before hugging her back, Vanessa held her hand proudly looking at us both as we hugged each other. Some time later. Opening the door as I looked the hallways to see Thomas waiting worriedly "It's been 10 minutes! What did they do to you? I swear if they hurted you, I'll hang them an-" I cutted him off by hugging him tightly.
