The centaur was off duty for his vacation. Colt Bronco meets the gremlin with swords in her small wagon. He was quizzed. "Say, madam, did you see two elves and the...the human being on your travel?" The centaur wondered.

The green gremlin lady was puzzling. "Two elves...and a human..." she added, pondering. "I only saw the peculiar redhead today...asking for cooking stuff for her griffin egg...No two elves, sir..." the green gremlin lady replied.

Colt was determined. "Would you describe me about the redhead you mentioned today, mam?" He asked.

She thinks for some seconds. Then, the green gremlin lady was mischievous. "The redhead I met today claims herself to be a human being...A human who has an accent of Scottish...a girl in the dress with free spirit...An archer human...She offers me a sword to trade with some of my cooking supplies...for her bonfire...I accepted her...kindness gesture..." the green gremlin lady answered. She made a disturbing gremlin laugh.

The centaur was disgusted at her. "Should I ask why are you laughing like that?" He inquires.

The green gremlin lady crisscrossed her arms. She was smirking. "Well, the human redhead girl has a griffin egg...The spotted colorful one..." The green gremlin lady added. "Do you think SHE got it out of the grocery store?" The green gremlin lady joked.

Colt don't like the sword collector a lot.

The green gremlin lady kept cackling like a crazy mischief creature.

Then, someone stuns her by the big scorpion's tail by her back-head.

The sword collector was wide-eyed. She falls over to the grassy ground.

The centaur was bewildered. "Oh son of a-" He added, remembering not to cuss in front of the lady. Colt turns his head to his left. The centaur was smiling. "Laurel!" He added, exclaiming. Then, Colt raised his eyebrow. The centaur was baffled. "The Manticore?" He inquired.

Laurel made a pitiful smile. "Hi, honey..." she said. Laurel waves at Colt.

The Manticore was pleased. "That's right, Officer Bronco. And I have met THAT gremlin before two years ago back in her pawn shop." She reminisces.

The Manticore made an awkward grin.

Laurel was mystified. "Colt, I thought you're working today around the town." She added. Laurel shrugs. "What are you doing here?" She wonders.

The centaur shrugged his shoulders. Colt was cheerful. "Eh, it was my vacation day today. I wanna find out where your sons are. About the human and the quest and all." He added, replying. Colt loved his own catchphrase. "Working hard or hardly workin'?" The centaur neighs in his laughter.

Laurel and the Manticore chuckles with Colt.

The green gremlin lady was annoyed. "Hey! HEY! You can't do this to me, you winged-bear-snake-woman!" She shouted.

The Manticore was skeptical at the gremlin. "Well I JUST DID! And it's winged-lion-scorpion-woman to you!" She vented.

The centaur was happy to see his girlfriend again.

Laurel was concerned. "Colt, that was so sweet of you...And you don't have to take your day for me...I was just concerning for Barley and Ian..." she added. "Do you have any idea where they are yet, honey?" Laurel asks.

The Manticore checks out the swords in the small wagon. She discovers Barley's sword in there. The Manticore was enthusiastic. She snatched the weapon out of the small wagon.

The centaur was confused. "Laurel, the gremlin told me that the human was here with her griffin egg." Colt added, answering. He was serious. "She traded a sword for cooking supplies for the bonfire...Laurel, I think the human girl got the griffin egg from the nest..." The centaur believed.

The Manticore was alarmed. She gasps. The Manticore facepalmed herself. "A GRIFFIN EGG FROM THE NEST?!" She screamed in her inquiry.

Laurel was astounded at the Manticore. She wanted to know. "Wait, are the griffins dangerous?" Laurel wondered.

The Manticore was afraid yet definite. "Yes, they are part eagle, part lion. They are keen to see things while flying with majestic wings. And their strengths are mighty like the king of the beasts." She added, replying. Laurel and Colt are bothered. The Manticore continues. "If Merida did steal a griffin egg from the nest, she would be in trouble." The Manticore confirms.

Laurel was frightened.

The centaur was resolute. "All right, that's it." He added. Colt lowers his horse's legs. The centaur gestures his back. "Hop on, honey." He said.

The Manticore was worrying. "I know where they're going. Just follow me at the sky." She utters. The Manticore flapped her wings a few times. Then, she was ascended to the sky.

Laurel goes to the centaur's back. She embraced him. "Colt, Barley and Ian are taking her to the Brave Wilderness. For the Teleportation Gem." Laurel added. The centaur rises up with its legs. "The Manticore says there's the demon bear guarding it." Laurel stated.

Colt holds his girlfriend's arms gently. The centaur was sympathetic. "Don't worry, sweetheart...We'll stopped your sons before it's too late..." he avowed.

The centaur raises his two front legs up. "Ya!" Colt exclaimed. He galloped swiftly to the Knolling Hills.

Laurel was gladder that her boyfriend was here to help her. She looks up at the sky.

The Manticore was gliding ahead with Barley's sword.

Laurel points him out. She was confident. "Colt, follow that Manticore!" Laurel hollers.

The centaur was smirking yet excited. "You got it, honey!" He shouted.

Colt gallops faster. The centaur tried to check the Manticore and watched the fields with hills at the same time.

When they found the area where the bonfire was used, the cooking supplies and the broken griffin egg was left behind.

The flying beast was defeated.

They are pursuing on to meet the Lightfoot brothers and the human girl.

They are hoping that they haven't reach the forest yet.
