Jily One Shots

Flying

"Lil, get on. It'll be fun," James says motioning Lily to get on his broom. Lily responds rolling her eyes, "Why would I trust the most annoying guy at Hogwarts with my life?"

Lily often assures herself that they are not friends. Just acquaintances that run into each other a lot. He says, "Because I am also the best flyer at Hogwarts." He smirks, "C'mon, let loose for once."

"Fine," Lily grumbles and jumps onto the back of the broom. He kicks off the ground. They fly into the sky. Lily hugs him from behind. She oddly likes the way her body molds with his.

He loves having her scent present in his nose. He could almost turn back and snog her right now.

Lily's hair whips around behind her. He dips into the dark sky and she lifts her arms likes a bird. It feels like the swings at the carnival.

"WOOHOOO!" Lily yells. She says, "This is really fun!"

Lightning sounds. Rain begins to pour. And Lily, falls off the broom.

"Lily!"

She descends towards the earth. She reaches for James as she screams, "James!"

He can't catch her. Its his worst nightmare.
