James and I have been paired with each other.

Again.

I am starting to think that James is bribing the teachers. James walks towards me with his hands in his pockets and a smirk on his dazzling- I mean average face.

He says, "Are you ready to make a love potion?" I frown and glance at him. He better not try this on me.

"The question is Potter," I say, "are you ready?" He smiles at his shoes and we get to work.

"So, what do you smell?" He asks innocently. I glance at him, biting my lip. I go closer to the potion and sniff. I frown. I am a potion prodigy, it must be his fault.

I accuse, "I can't smell anything because you are wearing the smelliest shampoo I have ever smelt in my life!"

He frowns and sees for himself. "Well, I can't smell anything because you marinated in your perfume this morning."

We both glare at each other.

Remus complains, "Sirius took so long in the shower this morning none of us could take our turn!"

"That's why this group smells so bad! I thought it was because Lily ran out of her perfume last week!" Alice realizes.

James and I make eye contact.
