"eep!" you squealed as you flinched away from the screen. P/N chucked but held you closer, making sure you felt safe.
"you okay love?" they ask, smiling.
"yeah, just scared." they pull you closer to them and you snuggle against their chest.
Another jump scare frightens you and you bury your head in their shirt. Chuckling again, they play with your hair to calm you down. Eventually, this calms you so much that you fall asleep on top of them.
You don't hear the movie end, but you feel them pick you up. Half asleep, you whisper to them,
"love you." You just barely catch their response as they set you on your shared bed.
"goodnight love. I love you more."
