''Alright alright buddy, Is this your way of hinting you want food?'' I questioned, Picking up the poor bird he had dropped on top of me.

Did it's chest just move?

Deciding I could bury it in the morning, I found an empty box and placed it in there, A temporary place to keep it until I could get rid of it.

''Not happy with you for killing some innocent bird'' I scolded, Locking the door as the large hound watched me.

Gonna have to train that out of him. . .If he goes around killing animals that might become a problem for the local ecosystem. . .That's not even taking into account if he kills someone's pet. . .Or bites a kid. . .He could be put down. . .

''C'mon buddy, Why don't I make you some scrambled eggs. . .That should give you a good amount of nutrients. . .That is until I can go to the store and get you some actual dog food'' I muttered while gathering up the needed items.

I could swear the dog gave me a disgusted look at the mention of 'Dog food'.

Well then, Aren't you a little Diva. . .

Sighing, I just shook my head and set about trying to make scrambled eggs using the stove.

Key word in that sentence was 'Try', Because despite the food being for him, The hound kept trying to nudge me to the blanket pile I was using as a bed until my actual bed arrives.

''Hey, Cut it out, You're going to make me burn one of us'' I chastised after the fifth time he tried to push me away from the stove.

He was a big dog, But I was the human in this situation, Therefore, I was smarter.

Supposedly.

It took a lot longer than it should have, But soon enough, I was dropping the scrambled eggs into what I have since deemed as 'his food bowl'.

''There, Eat your supper'' I muttered as soon as I finished neatening back up the kitchen.

The hound started to munch on the provided eggs, But as soon as I left the room to continue unpacking, I heard the tell tale sound of claws clicking on the floor, Following me.

And that's how I spent the night, Trying to unpack while the dog kept trying to push and nudge me back to the blanket pile, Getting more and more impatient when I failed to yield.

I had finished putting the very last plate away in one of the cabinets when he finally had enough.

A small, Blood chilling snarl left the dog before he proceeded to rear up on his back legs and shove me to the ground with his front paws.

''Gah! What are you doing? Get off me! Bad dog!'' I shouted, Trying to shove the hound off of me as he more or less pinned me to the ground with his paws.

He didn't listen, Instead, He growled quietly, Nipping at my neck as I tried to get free.

His bites didn't draw blood but they still hurt.

Freeing an arm, I reached up and grabbed at his scruff, Trying to tug him away.

He didn't seem to like that if the much lower snarl was anything to go by.

''Get. Off.'' I grunted out as he proceeded to close his muzzle around by neck, Not biting yet, But a clear warning that he will.

Squirming about, I finally managed to throw the dog off of me, Scrabbling to my feet as soon as he was off.
