Getting up out of bed, I made my way over to the bag.

My sleepy brain not even starting to question how the bag could have possibly fallen over with nothing nearby to knock it over.

Instead, I reached out, Carefully picking up the page filled book as the feeling of eyes watching me registered in the back of my mind.

Distantly, I felt the odd urge to open it, To look inside.

Something important is inside.

I should look.

I should-

It's not my book and I don't want to be rude.

Carefully, I slid it back into Faer's satchel without peering inside either before leaning the bag back up against the wall and turning back to the bed I had been trying to sleep in.

Faer was fast asleep, His face smushed up against his arm, Leaving his lips parted slightly.

Ya know what. . .That's exactly how I wanna be right now, You've got the right of it stranger. . .

With that in mind, I snuggled back down under the thin motel blanket on the second bed and drifted off into sweet sweet slumber.

Unknowing of the figure who slowly stepped out of the shadows inside the room's only closet.

Whispered words, The screams of gulls, Distant laughter and the almost always present crashing of waves throwing themselves against the un-moving, Uncaring, Stony shore.

Those foggy memories of dreams echoed in my mind as I slowly woke up.

I could faintly hear someone moving around the semi small room, Humming quietly to themselves a song I knew not the words to.

It's tune sounded so familiar though, As if I'd heard it sometime long ago. . .Familiar enough that the words seemed to dance through my brain but leave no trace to hold onto in their wake.

Slowly opening my eyes, I was greeted by the sight of Faer, Quietly humming to himself as he dried his curly hair as best he could with the motel's thread bare towels.

Shirtless.

He's a very pretty man. . .What time is it?

Turning my attention away from the other man's hairless and rather pretty chest, I took in my surroundings and the bedside clock blinking the numbers 7:02.

Blearily rubbing at my eyes, I slowly sat up, Drawing the dark brown eyed man's attention towards me.

He looked confused for a second before his eyes widened.

''Ah shit, I'm so sorry! I forgot I wasn't alone, Sorry to have woken you'' Faer apologized, Sounding genuinely sorry about something so trivial.

Yawning, I stretched my arms above my head and groaned as the other man finished tousling his hair dry.

''No no, You didn't wake me, Nothing to apologize over'' I assured him, Climbing out of bed and remaking it as I spoke, Wanting something to do with my hands.

Faer smiled an embarrassed smile at me as I did the same for his sleep rumpled sheets.

''That's a really pretty song by the way'' I complimented as he went back to quietly humming to himself.

The other man grinned sheepishly and rubbed at the back of his neck at that.

''Thank you, My normal companion finds my humming annoying. . .'' He whispered, His voice a little more flustered sounding now.

I opened my mouth, About to assure him it was anything but when there came a very very loud knock at the door.

Faer and I exchanged brief glances before I went to see who it was and Faer went to put on a shirt.

Looking out through the peephole, I was greeted with the sight of a man with steel grey-blue eyes glaring back at me.

''Faer open the goddamn door already.'' Said glaring man growled out without any preamble.

''Oh that sounds like my partner'' Faer sighed out as he struggled to tug a dark red cable knit sweater over his head.

Ultimately failing seeing as he was clearly still half asleep, Struggling to pull his head through the arm hole of said sweater.

''Uh, Wrong hole there Faer'' I pointed out quietly before starting to unlock the multiple chains locking the room's door, Giving me a hint about how safe it is around here.

There was a quiet rustling behind me as I finished unlocking the door.

So many locks but they're all shitty. . .

As soon as I started to open the door, The man on the other side proceeded to shove it open, Knocking me backwards a bit.

Rude. . .

He looked me up and down but didn't seem very surprised to see me.

''Faer who the hell is this.'' The man questioned as the dark skinned man I shared a room with last night moved to stand next to me.

Glancing over at him, I noticed how mussed up his hair was from his brief battle with his clothes.

''Well you'd know who he is if you'd actually showed up last night.'' Faer snipped back at the other man before noticing I was staring at him.

''Uh you. . .'' I started before reaching out and helping him return his hair to how it previously was.

I just felt more comfortable around him since we slept. In. The. Same. Room.

''Oh thank you'' He murmured quietly, Visibly fighting back a smile as he looked away from me.

Faer's 'partner' looked like he was about to burst multiple blood vessels the entire time, Which was. . .Scary. Very scary.

Dude looked like he could snap me in half like a led pencil.

''I. See. Well then. Say good bye to your. . .Friend, We have work to get to'' The man muttered, Looking me up and down judgmentally at the 'friend' part.

Ah. . .Lovely man I see. . .

Faer looked over at me before a small grin formed on his face.

''Hey Callum? You mentioned last night that you don't have anything planned once you get back to your new-old home right?'' Faer questioned excitedly, Confusing me slightly.

Okay. . .Where's this going?

''Yeah, Why?''  I questioned, Noticing the excited gleam in the other man's eyes.

''Do you want to join us exploring the forests and sea sides of this fine place?'' Faer asked excitedly, Earning an instant 'hell no!' from his mysterious partner.

Oh. . .
