Mako : Kick his butt Ryūko!

[Y/N] : You've got this babe!

Ryūko Matoi is a student of Honnōji Academy alongside her boyfriend [Y/N] [L/N], and her best friend Mako Mankanshoku. She is about to fight a two-star student named [O/N].

[O/N] : I've been itching to fight you for a long time now Matoi. Once I defeat you, maybe Lady Satsuki will finally be smitten with me.

Ryūko scoffs.

Ryūko : Really? You're fighting me because you're a simp for that blue-eyed witch? Sorry pal, I don't think she's interested in dating losers like you.

This made [Y/N] laugh.

[O/N] shoots Ryūko a harsh glare.

[O/N] : You know absolutely nothing of romance! I mean, who could possibly be interested in an uncivilized brute like you?!

Suddenly, a dagger flies by [O/N]'s head, just barely missing him.

Ryūko and [O/N] turn their attention to [Y/N], who is humming innocently while fiddling with a dagger in his hand.

[Y/N] notices their staring and gives [O/N] a fake friendly smile.

[Y/N] : Sorry about that, my hand must of slipped. Insult my girlfriend again and next time, it won't be an accident.

[O/N] sweats nervously.

[O/N] : Matoi, your boyfriend scares me.

Ryūko : Good. Now, either fight me or I'll have [Y/N] throw another dagger. Only this time, I'll have him aim for your crotch.

[Y/N] darkly chuckled.

[Y/N] : Oh, and I'd definitely do it too.

[O/N] gulped and got in a fighting stance.

Ryūko : You better not hold back on me, how will you ever impress your precious Satsuki if you do?

Ryūko smugly taunted.

[O/N] gritted his teeth and charged at Ryuko, starting the fight.

Needless to say, Ryūko wiped the floor with [O/N]. To rub salt into the wound, Satsuki Kiryūin herself showed up and reprimanded [O/N] for losing so easily.

[O/N] : My apologies Lady Satsuki, please forgive me.

Satsuki gave him an indifferent look.

Satsuki : Apologies mean nothing. I expected better from a two-star student [O/N], but clearly my expectations were too high for you. Perhaps being demoted to a one-star student will be sufficient motivation for you to improve.

She and Ryūko glare at each other briefly before she walks away without a single word being said.

Ryūko : Humph. Witch.
