Author's Note : The iteration of Starfire in this chapter will be from the amazing Teen Titans cartoon. (Just to clarify, I mean the original, not Teen Titans Go)

Now let the story begin.

Having finished taking down a group of villains, the Teen Titans begin heading back to Titans Tower when [Y/N] [L/N], a member of the team who also goes by [H/N], suddenly falls to his knees, much to the worry of his teammates.

Cyborg : [Y/N]!

Beast Boy : You ok dude?!

[Y/N] : Y-yeah, guess I'm more exhausted than I thought.

Robin : Are you able to get up?

The team's leader asks with concern in his voice.

[Y/N] : I....I don't know Robin.

Starfire : Fear not friend [H/N], I can carry you back to the Tower.

Raven : Umm...I can just use my magic to-

Starfire : No! I will help him!

Everyone is shocked to hear Starfire shout like that as she takes [Y/N] into her arms and flies off.

Cyborg : What was that about?

Beast Boy : Yeah, I've never seen Star act like that before.

Robin : She probably feels guilty for what happened earlier. Remember how [H/N] intercepted an attack that was meant for her?

Cyborg/ Beast Boy : Oh yeah...

Raven : You're partially right Robin, because that isn't Starfire's only reason.

The three boys turn to her with looks of confusion on their faces as she sighs.

Raven : Ugh. I should not have to spell it out for you guys. I'll tell you on the way back, let's just go.

She walks off, her male teammates still having no idea what she meant.

Meanwhile, Starfire is flying through the air while protectively holding onto [Y/N], who is currently blushing up a storm due to his closeness to the girl he has feelings for.

Starfire : Friend [H/N], I am not going too fast am I?

[Y/N] : N-no, you're fine Star. Also, we've known each other for a while now, so please just call me [Y/N].

He tells her with a smile, making her blush a little before she gives him one in return.

Starfire : Very well friend [Y/N].

After a brief moment of comfortable silence, Starfire speaks up again.

Starfire : [Y/N], there is something I would like to ask you.

[Y/N] : What's up Star?

The girl from Tamaran lands on a nearby rooftop and gently puts [Y/N] down before looking at him intently.

Starfire : Why did you take that hit for me?

[Y/N] : Because I care about you a lot Star.

Hearing this, she blushes a little before shaking it off and gains a stern expression.

Starfire : But you could've gotten seriously injured. I care about you too [Y/N], but if something ever happened to you I....I can't even bear to think about it.

She says while getting a little emotional, making [Y/N] feel bad as he goes to comfort her.

[Y/N] : I'm sorry Star, don't get upset. I'm ok, sure I'm a little tired, but besides that I'm fine.

He proceeds to hug her tightly, making Starfire gasp in surprise before quickly returning it.

A few seconds later, Starfire breaks away and does something completely shocking to [Y/N].

She kisses him passionately on the lips.

Once she pulls away, [Y/N] looks at her with a deeply flustered face.

[Y/N] : W-what was that for? You already know English Starfire.

(For those of you who don't know, Starfire's race can learn to speak other languages through kissing.)

The red haired Tamaranean giggles at his reaction.

Starfire : You're funny [Y/N]. I kissed you because I really like you.

She says, causing him to blush even more.

[Y/N] : Ok, I'm convinced that this has to be some kind of dream. That hit I took must've knocked me out or something.

Starfire : This is not a dream [Y/N]. Ever since I arrived on this planet, you have been there for me, and though I have a close bond with all my friends, you are the person I'm the closest to. Over time, I've slowly began to see you as someone more than just my friend. Thanks to friend Raven, I realized that I am in love you [Y/N].

[Y/N] : Star, I.....I love you too.

He says while taking her hands into his and smiling warmly at her.

Starfire : Then does that mean we are the boyfriend and the girlfriend now?

Not so hidden excitement present in her voice as she asks him this.

[Y/N] : Only if you want us to be.

Starfire : That is what I want.

[Y/N] : Good, me too Star.

The two share another kiss before Starfire picks him up again and resumes flying in the direction of Titans Tower.

Timeskip

Having just returned to their home base, Starfire and [Y/N] are greeted by their teammates.

Cyborg : How is it we got here before you two did?

[Y/N] : Star and I had to make a quick pit stop.

Robin : Pit stop?

[Y/N] : Yeah, you see-

He is interrupted by his new girlfriend.

Starfire : [Y/N] and I are now the boyfriend and the girlfriend! Isn't that grand friend Raven?!

Raven : About time you two got together. Congratulations.

She gives the two a small smile before heading to her room.

Cyborg : Woah, guess she was right.

Beast Boy : I didn't believe it at first either bro.

[Y/N] : Huh?

Robin : Ignore them. I'm really happy for the both of you.

Starfire : Thank you friend Robin. Now [Y/N] and I will be doing the cuddling in his room.

Grabbing her boyfriend's hand, Starfire drags him off to have an affection filled afternoon.
