Now let the story begin.

Please wake up [Y/N], me and the Lumas miss you so very much.

Rosalina thinks to herself as she stares down at the unconscious form of her husband [Y/N], who had been knocked out during an attack on the Comet Observatory by Bowser, king of the Koopas.

[Y/N] had met Rosalina when he crash landed onto the observatory and was taken to meet her by the Lumas.

He was offered a place to stay until his ship was fixed, but as time passed, she had developed feelings for him because of his kind heart and how well he treated the Lumas, who had started calling him papa.

[Y/N] felt the same way about Rosalina, and with the help of the Lumas, eventually confessed his feelings for her, to which she gleefully reciprocated.

After being a couple for some time, Rosalina realized [Y/N] is the person she wants to spend the rest of her life with and promptly asked him to be her beloved, leading to a very happy acceptance from [Y/N].

Now, as he lay unmoving, several Lumas float around him with sad eyes.

Rosalina : I know little ones, I miss him too. Don't fret, you're papa is as strong as he is kind, there's no way he'd leave us so soon.

She says to comfort the Lumas, but in truth is not so confident of her own words.

I love you [Y/N], the Lumas do as well, so please wake up and come back to us.

A lone tear falls from her eye and lands on [Y/N]'s forehead.

Moments later, [Y/N]'s eyes slowly open.

Ugh...my head really hurts. What happened?

He looks up to see a beautiful blonde haired girl and several star-like creatures.

[Y/N] : W-where am I?

Rosalina : [Y/N]!

She exclaims happily as she helps him to his feet and kisses him while the Lumas hug him tightly.

He blushes from the kiss, but is extremely confused.

W-why did she just kiss me?!

Rosalina : I missed you so much my love!

[Y/N] : W-who are you miss?

Rosalina : What do you mean [Y/N]? It's me, Rosalina, your wife.

[Y/N] : I'm sorry, I have no idea what you're talking about.

Rosalina's eyes widen in realization and horror.

Oh no....he doesn't remember me at all. The hit he took from Bowser must of given him Amnesia!

She takes both of his hands into hers and stares desperately into his eyes.

Rosalina : [Y/N], look at me and try to remember. I love you so much, you've just got to remember something! Me, the Lumas, how we met, anything!

He tries to remember, but looks at her and shakes his head.

[Y/N] : I-I'm sorry, my mind's just so hazy right now. Something in my heart tells me that what you said is true, but I can't remember anything.

Rosalina looks down in sadness.

No....

She suddenly gets an idea.

Since my beloved lost his memory, I'll do everything in my power to help him get it back.

Rosalina grabs his hand and drags him off to the library in the observatory, several Lumas following behind them.

Once there, she sits [Y/N] down and shows him a scrapbook of their time together including wedding photos and family pictures of them with the Lumas, also telling him stories of everything they've been through.

While this does help [Y/N] remember some things like who Rosalina is and what the Lumas are, he still has yet to recover his full memory.

After a few days pass, Rosalina slowly begins to accept the idea that her husband ever regaining his memories.

Even if he doesn't remember everything about our relationship, he's still the man I fell in love with, we'll just focus on making new memories.

One day, Rosalina was relaxing with [Y/N] on the terrace and asked him to go get a book from the library for them to read together like they used to.

A few minutes after he left, a loud crash could be heard coming from the library.

Rosalina quickly got up and rushed to the library, only to see that one of the bookshelves had fallen on top of [Y/N].

She quickly got the shelf off him.

Rosalina : Oh my goodness! Are you alright [Y/N]?!

He got up and brushed himself off.

[Y/N] : Yeah, I'm ok Rosie.

Her eyes widened.

He called me Rosie! That was his nickname for me before he lost his memory! Does that me he remembers everything again?!

Rosalina : [Y/N], do you...remember me?

He looks up at her and smiles.

[Y/N] : Yes Rosie, I remember everything now.

She smiles and embraces her husband with tears in her eyes.

Rosalina : I'm so happy, I was beginning to think your memories were gone forever!

She sobs into his shoulder as he smiles softly and runs his fingers through her hair.

[Y/N] : Shhh. Don't cry Rosie, I'm here and that's all that matters.

She pulls away and looks at him with a teary-eyed smile.

Rosalina : I love you [Y/N].

He gently cups her face, making her blush.

[Y/N] : I love you too Rosalina.

They share a passionate kiss, only to be interrupted by all the Lumas rushing in and smothering them both with hugs.

[Y/N] : Hahaha! Stop guys, that tickles!

Rosalina : Hehehe. Alright little ones, give mama and papa some room to breathe please.

The Lumas comply and float happily around [Y/N], making him chuckle.

[Y/N] : I love you guys too.

Rosalina smiles and pulls him into another embrace, the Lumas quickly joining in for a big happy family hug.
