Part 17

After going on a date, Lucas send Ashley home. Lucas send Ashley until her apartment and send her off infront of the door. They both stand facing each other.

Lucas exhale his breath roughly " you should go inside now " he say softly. Ashley nodded and giving an awkward smile and so do Lucas.

Until there's a voice scream " Ashley?! ". They both turn their head and saw it's Sofia. She look at him with a disbelief expression on her face. She approach them and start to kick Lucas.

Lucas didn't fall on the floor and he look at her furious " what the fuck was that? " He ask angrily.

Sofia look at him her seriously face " what the hell are you even here appear infront of my baby sis " she say raising her voice.

Ashley is embarrassed try to stop her by whispering to Sofia and held her arm " stop don't make a fuss here ". Sofia giving a glare and glare at Lucas.

Her eyes wide open and her mouth twitch " fuck off and don't dare to come back here again ".

Lucas just giving a glare and roll his eyes. He look at Ashley and his eyes softened " I'm gonna get going now " he say and walk away. Meanwhile, Sofia hiss at him but Lucas just give a confuse glare while walk away.

Sofia look at Ashley in disbelief expression on her face " what the heck was that? Why is that jerk here? " She ask furiously.

Ashley hiss at her " let's just talk inside " she say and pull her arm enter the apartment.

Ashley let her arm go and Sofia just cross her arms waiting for Ashley's explanation. Ashley look at her confuse but at the same time nervous.

Sofia raise her eyebrows " mind to explain what was that? Why is he here? And why are you wearing such a pretty dress infront of him? " She ask with a strict tone in her voice.

Ashley sigh and start to explain everything to Sofia. After explaining, Sofia gasp with her face looking more furious " what in the holy water of sunflower wine that shitty shit I swear I'm gonna finish him off " she say and wake up from her seat but Ashley pull her down to sit down.

Ashley click her tongue annoyed " What can you do? It's not like you can handle his stone steel head ".

Sofia roll her eyes annoyed " I'm gonna kill him make sure he won't able to see the world anymore as a human ".

Ashley sigh " you know he's not a joke right? "

Sofia clear her throat " yeah but who knows he can die too " while fixing her body posture.

Ashley sigh " yeah but we know it's impossible " she say while laying down on the floor.

Sofia look at her with a pitiful emotions in her eyes and lay down beside her along " what an amazing fate you have there " she say in sarcastic tone.

Ashley scoffs " shut up ". They both just lay down laughing at each other after.

Meanwhile, Lucas who is back to his penthouse and saw his mom is waiting outside his door room. Lucas immediately came to approach his mom " hey mom what are you doing here? " He ask concern.

His mom giving a soft chuckle and smile " I'm here to bring you something " she say while show the container to him.

Lucas sigh " why do you even have to bring foods for me? Don't trouble yourself ".

His mom scoffs " as always you would just nagging like that. I miss that " she say while giving a soft smile.

Lucas scoffs while open his door " come in ". His mom walk inside and look around at the space of the penthouse.

" It's been 2 months I'm not here right? " She ask.

Lucas scoffs and smile " yeah it is ".

She tilt her head slightly " it does have a little bit of change in your room ". Lucas just respond with a smile.

His mom then put the container on the dining table " you live here alone and not married yet huh. Aren't you lonely? " She ask.

Lucas who is open his jacket stop for a moment and start to fold his jacket. His mom look at him " I thought you and Ashley had already engage why still not married yet? It's been 1 year and you guys are not married yet ".

Lucas sigh " mom you gotta understand Ashley. She's not ready yet for a marriage and so do I ".

His mom pout " yeah I understand her but you? Why are you not ready when you are already complete with everything. You've got everything money and so on. You can even buy a house for you both so what's the matter? " She ask softly.

Lucas take a deep breath " I do but I respect her decision ".

His mom scoffs " you are not ready because of her decision? " She ask.

Lucas stop for awhile not knowing how to respond his not make sense answer. He just nodded and pretend to busy doing his things.

His mom let out a little chuckle " it's okay I understand you both but you know I really wait for the moment you both finally married. You know I like her so much don't you? "

Lucas stop doing tidy the books for a moment " I know how much you love her like she's your daughter so yeah don't worry we will get married when the time comes " he responded.

His mom smile and nodded slightly " good. Promise you won't do anything that hurt her ".

Lucas take a deep breath and nodded nervously. His mom said again " bring her over to dinner tomorrow. I miss her I want to meet her ".

Lucas try to think for a moment not knowing how to explain to Ashley about his mom invite her for a dinner. The fact that he never told his mom that he broke up with Ashley because of how much his mom adore Ashley so much.

He nodded at his mom and give a nervous smile. He look away pretending to do his things while feeling like he's doom. He wonder how would Ashley react if she knew that Lucas never told his mother that they both broke up their engagement.

He really had to think of any way of how to explain to Ashley especially bring her for a dinner at his mom's house.

He mumble himself " I'm sure she would hate me for this ".
