His Obsession

Part 30

After few days, Ashley and Lucas relationship are going well. They spend a lot of time together, Lucas work hard to make sure Ashley is always fine during their relationship.

Now, Ashley walk inside her apartment room. She threw her handbag exhausted and groan while walking lazily. Until there's a voice appear out of nowhere. Ashley startled and look behind her.

She gasp and look at the person familiar. It's Kevin. Ashley look at him surprise but feel terrified at the same time cause Kevin look different. As if he's not himself this time.

Ashley try to maintain calm and ask " what are you doing here? ".

Kevin giving a smirk and look at her with his intimidating face " I don't know. Maybe to get revenge on Lucas " he say in a slumber way.

Ashley heart beat fast feeling more terrified by his sudden speech. Ashley look at him nervous " w-what do y-you mean by that? " She stuttered.

Kevin chuckle " well maybe I would do something to you that can make him so mad at me more " he say while laughing evilly after.

Ashley back away slowly. Kevin smirk and walk to approach her " I think you should know something that you don't know but I'm not gonna give any clue. I just want you to know that if Lucas came here fast there's something " he say while playing with his keys.

Ashley look at him terrified breathing heavily trying to catch her breath because she can sense the evil in Kevin is no joke. She back away slowly again and ran to her room immediately and lock it.

Kevin ran and knock on the door hard. He bang the door hard while yelling " open the door you bitch. Don't think of wanting to run away from me. You can't go anywhere. You're fucking trap ".

Ashley shaking so hard while crying feeling terrified by Kevin's actions. Kevin keep on banging on the door while laughing evilly " open the door sweetie I didn't do anything yet ".

Ashley didn't even know what to do she know she's not strong enough to fight him back and escape. She tried to brace herself but the situation make her lost. She don't even know what to do. All she hope is Lucas would come here coincidentally.

Ashley couldn't even call Lucas because she left her phone in her handbag where she just threw at the couch just now.

Suddenly, there's a sound of Kevin groaning pain. Ashley stop shaking for awhile wanting to check but she didn't dare to. She try to open the door but a familiar voice call for her.

" Ashley? Open the door I'm here it's fine " Lucas try to calm her. Ashley immediately felt relieved and open the door. She saw the tall figure standing infront of her and she straight away hug him feeling glad.

Lucas giving a tight hug while rub her back gently " are you okay? " He ask and cupped her cheeks " did he do anything to you? " He ask again while look at her with his concern eyes.

Ashley shake her head while crying. Lucas hug her again and rub her the back of her head gently trying to calm her down.

" It's okay I'm here " Lucas said trying to comfort Ashley. He felt her body shaking so hard and that makes him so angry to the point he really want to beat Kevin so bad.

Lucas look at the side looking at Kevin who are now been handcuff by his police friends.

After 1 hour, Ashley sit down on the hospital bed feeling traumatized by what happen. Lucas came to her and ask " if you are still not okay, maybe you can try to take a rest or sleep at least to ease your mind " he say softly.

Ashley look at him with tears in her eyes " I'm scared " she say while shaking.

Lucas sigh feeling concern and rub her back gently " it's okay I'm here I won't go anywhere leaving you alone again. I'm always here to protect you so don't worry I will watch you over when you sleep " he say.

Ashley look at him feeling relief a little. But then she got curious " how did you know I was in danger? You even bought your police friends together with you " she ask.

Lucas stop thinking for a moment getting blank and flustered by Ashley's sudden question. He laugh nervously " they are my personal guards at the same time actually. They follow me to guard me so when I was on my way to you I bring them with me to be my driver or guarding us so coincidentally when that happen they are with me " he try to answer calmly.

Ashley look down and nodded " okay I will try to sleep now " she say weakly. She lay down while holding onto her blanket. Lucas nodded and manage her blanket to make sure to keep her warm.

Lucas kiss her forehead after " sleep tight honey " he say softly. Ashley can't deny that make her smile even though she smile slightly feeling happy but at the same time she still can't stop thinking about what just happen.

After 35 minutes, Ashley had already fall asleep. Lucas peek on her carefully to check whether she's already asleep. He getting flashbacks about what happen.

When he was doing his work as usual he would watch what Ashley would do in the house. He still keep the hidden camera inside her house to see how she's doing inside her house.

When he saw that Kevin is there, Lucas didn't even think twice he just straight away wake up from his seat to rescue Ashley. He straight away ran to his car while dialed his friends numbers to meet him at Ashley's apartment.

He call his friends who is a police. He explain to them while on his way to Ashley's apartment. At the same time he's still watching to check whether Kevin didn't lay a hand on her.

Lucas arrive at Ashley apartment along together with his friends and they ran together to save Ashley. After they had arrive, Lucas open the door and saw Kevin is outside her room.

Lucas didn't even hesitate to kick Kevin away and punch him endlessly but his friends stop him and took him away from Kevin. They straight away grab Kevin to handcuff him meanwhile Lucas try to calm himself to not kill Kevin.

End of the flashbacks, Lucas stare deeply at Ashley feeling worried that her safety was almost harmed. He was careless to that he didn't notice Kevin was already inside her apartment. Lucas didn't even check so he felt guilty that he didn't even act fast.

There, Lucas is wondering of he need to be so protective of her safety this time.
