Part 25

When Ashley hang up on the phone she sigh roughly and annoyed by how Lucas always keep teasing her. She sigh and saw the text message again from Lucas's mom. She got no choice but to reply and say yes to her invitation for dinner.

Now Ashley is at her apartment preparing going for a dinner and someone rang on the doorbell. Sofia yell " someone is coming ". Ashley immediately comb her hair and put on a necklace on her.

Meanwhile, Sofia open the door surprise to see it's Lucas. She gasp looking at him in disbelief " what are you doing here? " She ask.

Lucas look at her annoyed with a seriously face " I'm here to pick Ashley of course. Didn't she told you that she's going on a dinner with my parents? " He answer.

Sofia raise her eyebrow looking at him in a sassy way " uh uh why is that? You both are not in a relationship anymore why would she meet your parents ".

Lucas sigh and roll his eyes " we are in a relationship " he say confidently making Sofia gasp.

But Ashley appear behind Sofia and pat her shoulder " no we're not " she say while give a fake smile to them.

Lucas look at her speechless " yeah for you it's not but for me it is " he say and Sofia gasp again.

Sofia push Ashley behind her " uh uh excuse me there you little cocky if she say she's not then no don't force her to she ain't your puppet " she say in a sassy way again.

Lucas look at her with a frustration in his eyes " I don't have time to argue with you and I didn't eat yet so I don't have energy to argue so you being like this will make us late " he say furiously.

Sofia look at him furious wanting to kick his balls but Ashley go between them and stop them from arguing " okay stop this. We need to go okay I don't wanna keep his parents waiting it's not good " she try to calm Sofia down.

Sofia look at Ashley weirdly " why do you care? It's not like they are your in laws ".

Ashley sigh " yeah I know but still there are old people we need to respect " she say.

Sofia sigh and nodded " okay sure. And you " she point to Lucas " make sure to send her home after dinner. Don't even think of making her stay a night there " she warn him.

Lucas raise his eyebrow " you will need to ask my mom first for that " he say and grab Ashley's wrist walk away leaving Sofia speechless. Sofia wanted to say something but didn't get to because they already walk away.

Sofia mumble looking at him with a resentful face " that cocky emo ".

They both are already arrive at Lucas's parents house. They both walk inside and saw his parents welcome them and so do someone who looks familiar. Ashley look at him surprise because that person is Kevin. She look at Lucas surprise and confuse too.

She look at Lucas and Kevin back and forth with a confuse questioning face until his mom chuckle " why are you so confuse? " She ask. Ashley smile nervously and shake her head.

Lucas's mom then pull Kevin's wrist softly " here is our first son, Lucas's older brother Kevin " she introduce. Ashley eyes wide open shock and nodded understood trying to maintain cool acting like she just knew him.

But Kevin smile at his mom " we did met the other day " he say confidently. Lucas giving a glare but Kevin didn't even bother.

Lucas's mom then touch Kevin's arm " oh really? When? Where? Did you both already introduce each other before? " She ask a lot.

Lucas answer his mom annoyed " there's no need for so much questions. Let's all have a dinner already " he pull Ashley's wrist afterward. His mom look at Lucas confuse meanwhile Kevin just smirk knowing that Lucas is actually jealous.

They are now at the dining table sit down get ready to eat their dinner. They all began to eat but Ashley is still trying to process of what happen. She didn't expect that Lucas and Kevin are actually siblings. So that day what Kevin said he meant by Lucas.

They are eating peacefully until Lucas's dad begin to talk " so Kevin, how was your life with your grandpapa and grandmama at London? " He ask.

Kevin look at his dad smile " good. I'm fine there " he replied.

His dad then chuckle " so why are you back here all of suddenly? " He tease.

Kevin giggle " I thought of just want to see you guys ".

Lucas scoffs sarcastically while munching on his foods. They all give a glare at Lucas except for Ashley who is looking all confuse. Lucas notice them glaring so he purposely act like he's innocent " what? " He ask.

His dad then sigh and roll his eyes. Kevin did the same too but his mom just give a disbelief look on his face. His dad clear his throat " I heard when you arrive here you straight away book a hotel at Lucas's hotel " he say. Kevin nodded while munching.

His dad then ask " why are you there? You should've go here first instead ".

Lucas scoffs " yeah true you should've go to mom and dad. You are their favorite son after all " he say sarcastically. Ashley are surprise by his sudden speech but she try to maintain cool by munching on her food not minding what Lucas just said.

Kevin sigh and he look awkward " I just want to see how the hotel doing " he answer calmly.

Lucas scoffs " why would you? It's not like it's yours. You should've just check on the club that is supposed to be yours " he say sarcastically again.

His dad then put down his spoon hard on the table " Lucas stop! " He raise his voice.

Lucas did the same putting his spoon down cause Ashley to flinch " no you shut it " he say to his dad and look at Kevin. " You should've taken the club over before but you escape to London just because you don't want to manage that club? You came up with many excuses just to avoid it when you are the one who fit that club business more than me " he say furiously.

Ashley just sit there stop eating because she feel awkward by the sudden argue of them.

Kevin try to act calm " I really have something to do there " he answer.

Lucas scoffs " really? You know how much I beg you but you left me hanging. I have someone I love who I need to take care of her heart but you who go fuck around with any girls around you why wouldn't you take that business club over? You think I don't know what you doing at London? You are a still a fuckboy who fucks around " he say with a resentful tone in his voice.

Their dad then yell at Lucas " Lucas stop that! ".

Lucas stand up and slam his hands on the table " you shut it I told you to shut. Don't try to defend him just because he's your favorite child. You're weird you know he's capable of managing that club business yet you help him to not manage that fucking business " he say angrily.

His dad look at him and sigh not knowing how to respond meanwhile Kevin look down not knowing what to respond either.

Lucas's mom then look at his dad in disbelief " is that true? " She ask their dad.

His dad are getting flustered trying to came up with excuses while he's stuttering but Lucas smirk " don't try to came up with any excuses if that is already the truth and the fact of you being biased " he say furiously.

Lucas then grab Ashley's wrist and walk away after leaving them speechless sitting at the dining table. Ashley look at Lucas from his back feeling concern. She finally understand why he had to do that.

At the same time she's dissapointed by what she had saw in the past but at the same time she feel bad for him when she finally learn the truth.
