Ashley push Sofia slightly enter the apartment. Sofia keep asking Ashley to let go and cross her hands giving a glare " what was that? Are you defending him? " She ask Ashley.

Ashley gulp and blink her eyes twice " you think I want to let you cause a big fuss. Think of how people would see you or else you might ended up in police station for making a big fuss over that " she replied.

Sofia roll her eyes " explain why are you both hugging just now? " She ask feeling impatient.

Ashley sigh and roll her eyes walking away not wanting to respond but Sofia held her arm " come on tell me. I should know so I can warn or give you advices if you ever coming back to that jerk ass cheater " she nag.

Ashley turn her back to look at Sofia giving a glare and sigh. " Okay let's sit and I will tell you " she say while pulling Sofia's wrist to sit. There, the story session begins.

After Ashley had tell everything Sofia gasp " what the actual fuck? His dad and his brother are sick " she curse.

Ashley sigh " yeah I kinda feel bad too " she replied.

Sofia look at her sighing and held Ashley's hands after " that doesn't change the fact that he cheats on you even though he's actually not want to but all I can say it's up to you whether you want to give him a chance " she advice.

Ashley sigh " I don't know. I'm scared just by looking at him I've been haunted by the pasts " she say while look down.

Sofia sigh and held her hands again " you will but when he treats you better, I'm sure you will eventually forget it or maybe you can move on from that even though it doesn't seems easy either ".

Ashley look down while playing with Sofia's fingers " I'll try to be strong for that ".

Sofia smile and hug Ashley tightly " as long as he didn't hurt you the same way anymore then that's fine " she comfort Ashley while patting her back gently.

Ashley smile while patting Sofia's back gently along too. Ashley felt glad that Sofia would always respect her decisions and always give an advices that she needed.

The next morning, as usual Ashley prepare herself to go to work. She open the door and gasp surprise when she saw Lucas is already standing at the door looking at her with his flirty smirk.

Ashley sigh in relief touching her chest " what are you doing here? " She ask.

Lucas scoffs " let's go out on a date " he answer.

Ashley furrowed her eyebrows " what? A date? Why suddenly a date? You know I have work to do? "

Lucas let out a little chuckle " you know I'm the boss so it's up to me to decide whether you're working or not. You can take a leave I will still give you the salary you deserves " he say with a proud smile.

Ashley furrowed her eyebrows again " no it's not good to accept a full salary if I take a leave already " she say and want to exit the but Lucas stop her by walking towards her.

Ashley walk back away looking at him confuse but at the same time feeling nervous looking at him suddenly acting like he might attack her at any moment.

She look up at him with her doe sparkling eyes " w-why? " She stuttered.

Lucas sigh and bend down to look at her face " change your outfits to a date outfits before I'm the one who will do it for you " he tease with his deep voice.

Ashley look at him surprise with her eyes wide open and she immediately ran to her room close the door and lock it feeling terrified by his words. She breath roughly and touch her chest standing behind the door.
