After the effect of the arte wore off the enemies dropped down to the ground taking damage before getting up and moving toward me.
I motioned toward the enemies with both hands in a slashing motion. Purple energy exploded outward, "Psionic Blast," a wave of energy washed over the group of three.
They were pushed back and took damage and a damage-over-time effect was applied to them.
After being pushed back they recovered their balance and moved toward me again.
Suna meanwhile had begun pelting the enemy with her spells.
Mani likewise began to hit the group with his spells.
Moments later one by one they dropped to their knees and disappeared into particles of light.
Afterward, Mani collapsed on the floor, exhausted.
"You okay?" I asked.
"That was close," he said exasperated.
I chuckled, "we still have a long way to go, we'll take a break when we reach the rest area," I said reaching out, and helping him to his feet.
Suna motioned to her brother clenching her fists as if inspire him.
We continued forward defeating several waves of enemies along the way.
Eventually, we came to a cave surrounded by thick, gnarled, and tangled trees.
