Taking a deep breath, I gave the boss a glance over. With its new form, its attacks required a longer wind-up.
The boss lifted the spear into the air, and once more, its back began to glow as volleys of energy shot out, arching in the air toward me.
I dashed to my left and circled around the boss's right side, waiting for its attack to finish. While the beams shot out this time, it remained still as if it were unable to move.
Using that opportunity, I get a few hits in while continuing to avoid the falling rays of energy.
As i struck the boss, a few landed on me. Each one hit like getting pelted by stones.
As I moved to around to its right side, its volley had ended, and it began to rear upward. Its body turned toward me, and then it thrust its spear down toward me.
Avoiding the attack, energy burst from the spear, striking me and pushing me backward.
Unable to block, I once more rolled to the ground. I stood up and quickly moved backward, trying desperately to get some space.
This time, I was at a quarter health.
