Looking at Mani I felt emotions well up from inside me. However, I can't let that overtake me right now. I have to remain calm, for Mani. I suppressed those feelings and walked up to Mani.
I placed my hand on his head. He stopped crying and looked up at me.
"Great job, you did it," I said to him with a soft smile.
Mani looked down as he started sobbing uncontrollably.
I felt that overwhelming sense of emotion wash over me again. I managed to restrain myself from let it overtake me.
"Hey, come on let's have a seat tell me what happened."
Mani spent several minutes telling me how he struggled against the boss. He said he had a few close calls but managed to get his bearings, turn the fight around and win in the end.
Just as Mani was finishing his story up, another figure came around the corner. Standing there was Suna. She looked like she was heavily shaken and only had one fifth of her health left, but like Mani she had a blue sprite flying around her shoulder.
