I watched in horror as the corpse took the head of the previous body, then carefully and deliberately placed it where its own would be.
Then it placed its hand on the now headless body back, gripping its spine as putrid flesh covered the animated corpse. The animated corpse, with great effort, plunged the body in the rotted sludge.
A moment later, in one swift motion, it pulled forth a weapon fashioned from the bones of the corpse, a spear made from its spine and limbs. Then, as if it were a knight praying to a god, it held the weapon in front of it as the skeleton blade radiated blue light.
At that moment, the stun I was under wore off. I quickly stood back up as it brought the weapon to its side, taking a combat ready stance.
The boss came charging at me as if it were a knight on a steed.
As it rushed me, I jumped breakikg into a roll to dodge the attack. As it charged past me, the boss swung its bone spear in a wide arc. To my surprise it the spear extended, striking my back.
