After the attack landed, I fell forward. A deep stinging pain ached across the whole of my back. Rolling forward, I flipped and turned, so I was facing the boss once more.
About five to ten percent of my health was gone.
The boss then reared up and dove toward me as if it were snake trying strike at its prey. Once more, I attempted to evade the attack, this time with a backstep, then immediately after I broke into a forward roll.
As I had expected, the boss tried to strike me once more with its spear. The attack had completely missed.
After regaining my posture, I hit the boss with the art Rend and several volleys of basic attacks before backstepinh to gain some distance.
Just as I had landed on my back foot, the boss span around, striking me with it tail, sending me tumbling to the ground. I had lost about twenty percent of my health in that attack.
Once more, I stood to my feet. I pulled out my flask and took a swig refilling my health.
I looked up at the boss. It now had about a quarter of its health left.
