I looked the two of them. Suna and Mani were trying to hold themselves back while bracing for rejection. Part of me wanted to go back to being solo. I liked the solitud., I didn't have to deal with annoying or tedious players misleading or making demands of me.
However, they didn't do that. They were always kind and honest. Yeah they wanted my help, but it wasn't forceful or coercive.
Then, she came to mind.
Xuelian.
I remembered how kind she was to me, and how I had ditched her. I'd be doing the same thing all over again, to two people who wanted my help, no needed it.
". . . Sure, we can stick together for a little while longer," I said with a smile.
The both looked up at me with mouths a gap and eyes wide.
"You mean it!" The both exclaimed.
There they go in sync again.
"Yup."
"Alright!" "yay!" They said as they both cried wiping at their tears.
"We'll talk more about it back at town. Though it's getting dark out there now the monsters will be more dangerous now. We'll stay her for the night."
"Alright," they both replied.
