As the boss emerged from the hidden room, it began to pulse once more before a skeletal frame emerged from its body. It now resembled some sort of twisted snake centipede.
This skeletal form began to lift its hands into the air,then brought them down as if praying for some divine revelation.
Around the main body of the boss, two rows of spot across its back began to appear. Each glowing a bluish color. These spots became elongated like the spines on a reptile.
One by one, the bluish light burst forth from the body, and each one arched toward me.
I had finally managed to shake off the stun condition and stumbled back to my feet before taking off in a mad dash to avoid the incoming barrage.
As I ran, one after another bolts of light struck the ground behind me. This attack continued on for what felt like an eternity.
I managed to avoid the bulk of the attack. However, after running out of stamina, I was pelted by the handful remaining. Each did a miniscule amount of damage, only a few points. But if all fifty to hundred hit, the damage would add up quickly.
