With the hidden path revealed we peered down into darkness. There was a stair case descending down into what looked like a underground lair.

"I can't see anything," Mani nervously whispered.

"Me either," Suna replied.

I could hear the hesitation in her voice.

I opened my menu and materialized a small magic lantern capable of being clipped to my belt.

Turning it on it illuminated the area around me. It wasn't very bright. But it was bright enough not to be caught off guard.

In game there were two types of lights that could be used in a dunegon, a dim light that could be used without having to be held in hand, and a brighter light that had to be held in hand.

They could either be a physical light source such as fire, mystical in nature, or a flashlight.

"You two bought a latern too, right" I asked.

"Oh yeah," Mani replied.

They both pulled out their light and clipped it onto their belts.

We made our way into the cave, down a long winding staircase cut from the cave's stone.

The air smelt sickly and wet, it held a tinge rot, like death.
