"Oh, the sheer energy!" exclaimed Beta Algie as his car came to a stop. Those were the only words that managed to escape his lips upon encountering the palpable aura emanating from within the Dencio residence.

Simultaneously with Beta's persistent horn-honking, I stole a quick glance outside. My eyes were immediately drawn to the majestic arch adorning the gate, its inscription proudly proclaiming, 'Welcome to Dencio Residence.'

"Do you feel it too?" Beta asked turning towards me.

A smile tugged at the corners of my lips as I nodded in agreement. "Just as Mr. Dencio mentioned, his daughter belongs to the illustrious Alpha bloodline."

Beta, having never laid eyes on the enigmatic she-wolf, couldn't help but allow a smile to grace his face.

However, my excitement surpassed even his. I yearned to witness the outcome of this fateful encounter. Should Beta successfully mate with Mr. Dencio's daughter, it would serve as a testament to the profound connection between Beta and the Alpha. And it seemed that Beta was already forging a bond with her—right here, right now.

"Someone is approaching," Beta whispered, drawing my attention back to the gate. Through the intricately designed perforations, I caught sight of a maid, garbed in her uniform, making her way towards us. The sound of the lock being released reverberated through the air, followed by the gate swinging open.

Beta rolled down the window adjacent to me, positioning himself to face the gate. The maid, her steps purposeful, closed in on us, her curious gaze penetrating the window as she spoke, "Hello, Ma'am, Sir! Are you Miss Sophia and Sir Algie?"

I offered her an affirming smile, acknowledging her assumption that Mr. Dencio eagerly awaited our arrival. Gently nodding, I confirmed her speculation while Beta unable to contain his enthusiasm, interjected, "Hello! Is he present today?"

Suppressing a slight grimace, understanding Beta's amicable behavior towards humans, I empathized with his excitement.

The maid returned his enthusiasm with a warm smile, extending her hand through the window as she gestured, "Yes, they are eagerly anticipating your presence inside. Please proceed and park your vehicle, Sir."

Beta and I reciprocated her gesture with appreciative nods. "Thank you," I expressed in response.

With the maid's assistance, the gate swung open wider, allowing Beta to maneuver his car onto the premises. As the vehicle came to a graceful halt in front of the stately mansion, a delightful fragrance wafted down from the terrace above. Stepping out of the car, my gaze instinctively lifted heavenward.

For a fleeting moment, I caught sight of a resplendent woman gracing the terrace, yet she vanished into the folds of time before Beta could even glimpse her ethereal presence.

"Please, allow me to escort you inside, Ma'am, Sir. Sir Alfred and Miss Clara eagerly await your arrival," the maid graciously guided us. Exchanging a brief, knowing glance with Beta Algie, I discerned a shared anticipation reflected in his nod.

We embarked upon the path flanked by meticulously manicured flora, their intricate designs adding an air of elegance to the surroundings. Ascending the regal marble staircase, I marveled at the opulent texture beneath my feet. The translucent glass wall concealed the interior, leaving much to the imagination.

With a flourish, the maid swung open the grand double doors, revealing a vast and welcoming hallway. A majestic spiral staircase beckoned towards the heavens, but we turned left, directed by the presence of Mr. Dencio, comfortably ensconced in the living room, engrossed in his reading material.

"Sir, they have arrived," the maid announced with a note of reverence in her voice.

Mr. Dencio, lifting his gaze from the pages, removed his spectacles and carefully placed the newspaper on the polished round table. Greeting us with a warm smile and addressing us by name, he declared, "Sophia! Sir Algie! Welcome to my place!"

I briefly glanced at Beta, who extended his hand to Mr. Dencio. "Good day, Mr. Dencio."

"It's good that Eros thought of sending you here," Mr. Dencio replied, looking at me. "Especially you, Sophia. I miss your jokes. Did you know Clara was excited to see you?" He turned to his maid, and instructed her, "Ninia, Can you call Clara upstairs?"

"Okay, sir," Ninia responded promptly and left the room. Mr. Dencio turned his attention back to us. "Have a seat." Beta moved closer to a chair, and I followed suit. As Mr. Dencio sat down, he continued, "Clara will be here soon. I told her you were coming. She already knows who you are, so feel free to discuss anything you find delicate. Don't worry, she's aware."

Beta was about to speak, but he sensed someone approaching. He decided to keep quiet for the time being. From behind Mr. Dencio, a maid entered with plates of Carbonara and juice. She carefully placed them in front of us, and upon receiving a nod from Mr. Dencio, she quietly left the room.

The maid seemed friendly, displaying a warm smile, and her actions and posture hinted at her own familial responsibilities. Suddenly, Mr. Dencio raised a finger. "Wait a minute!"

The maid, who was about to leave, halted. Mr. Dencio seemed to getting something between the throw pillow and the couch. "You know, there are seven of them working here in the mansion," he whispered with a chuckle, pointing out the seven brown envelopes he had retrieved. Although Beta and I were puzzled, Beta nodded in acknowledgment. "That's why there are seven envelopes for them."

I watched in amazement as Mr. Dencio turned his attention to the maid, who appeared intrigued. The envelopes contained their names, and the contents remained a surprise.

"Consider it a chance to have fun since you only have one day off each month," he said, handing the envelopes to the maid, whose eyes widened with delight. I couldn't help but smile at the heartwarming scene. "Now, all of you leave the mansion and return tonight."

The maid seemed about to speak, but Mr. Dencio gestured for her to go. She departed with a mixture of reluctance and joy, likely due to the anticipation of the surprises within the envelopes. Once the maid had left, Mr. Dencio faced us, chuckling and whispering, "You know why I did that."

I understood his intentions after his remark. The maids were humans and unaware of our race. I felt grateful that Mr. Dencio had considered the situation.

Beta chuckled and expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you, Alfred!"

"I know you've been a great help to people like us, so I'll protect you too. Especially you," Mr. Dencio addressed me directly. "You've helped me before, so it's only fair that I return the favor."

"Sir! Miss Clara is here—"

"I've given Anna something for all of you. Enjoy yourselves. Go!" The maid glanced between her boss and us, visibly puzzled.

"Sir?"

"Ask Anna, she'll explain. Now, go to them, and we'll take care of Clara here. Where is she?" Mr. Dencio asked.

The maid indicated upstairs with a jerk of her thumb. "She's coming down, sir—"

"Okay, okay! You can leave now." Mr. Dencio appeared in a hurry, causing Beta to grin.

Mr. Dencio's mischievous aura was evident, and it was clear that he treated his maids well. The maid seemed about to say something, but Mr. Dencio urged her to leave.

Scratching her head, the maid left the room, leaving us in fits of giggles due to the amusing scene. However, our laughter subsided as a fragrant scent filled the air, accompanied by a voice saying, "Dad..."

We turned our attention to a woman wearing an orange knee-length dress, her fair complexion accentuated by pink knees and palms.

I was captivated by her beauty as I gazed at her face. Her long, well-curled hair framed her features, and she had opted for simple makeup, with a hint of lip gloss adding to her allure.

I slowly rose to my feet, followed by Beta. I smiled at her, but it was Mr. Dencio who spoke first. "So, she's here." He stood up and greeted his daughter, saying, "Come here, Clara—" However, his words trailed off as he noticed that Clara's attention was focused on someone else.

Together, we turned to see Beta Algie, who was also gazing at her. There was no visible reaction on Beta's face, nor on Clara's. Their eyes seemed to communicate for a brief moment before Beta finally spoke, his voice slightly shaky, "M-Mate?"
