The blood coating the raven-haired boy's face trinkled down.
"I'm so tired...", the boy muttered softly into nothingness; his crimson eyes slowly closing.
'Are they alright? Did I beat them?... Did I fail?'
Such thoughts plagued his mind only to be stopped by his built-up fatigue.
".i..! .i.a! .ika! Pika-pi!"
The boy's eyes scanned for the owner's high-pitched cries, only to find his treasured partner sobbing next to him. Smiling weakly, he began to drift into a well-earned slumber now that he knew that his partner was alright.
'I miss you...' he thought with longing.
His favourite memory
'I want to see you...' he thought with desire.
Shimmering blue orbs
'I will never forget you...' he promised with the last bit of his consciousness.
Sparkling gold strands
Thud.
