[Best friends]

The morning lessons started smoothly.

Lisa and Seulgi shared classes for the first 3 hours.
At every opportunity they started talking and joking, so much, that they were always scolded.

Lisa found out she had a lot in common with Seulgi, and she's happy to be able to recognize her as a true friend now.

The same goes for Seulgi who is even happier after getting close to Lisa and not only, even to her closest friends. (Jennie apart. She doesn't seem to like Seulgi very much ...)

When the 12:30 bell rang, all the students hurried to the cafeteria, happy to have a break.

Seulgi waited for Lisa outside her classroom, who, as usual, took her time to fix her things.

"Please take it slow, we're certainly not in a hurry"

Seulgi smiled at her with sarcasm written all over her face.

Lisa giggled, apologizing for her slowness, which seems to stretch more each time.

"C'mon, I'm hungry."

Lalisa pushed her out of the classroom.

It's actually amazing how the two became so close in such a short amount of time.

"So... tell me Lalisa Manoban."

Seulgi started as they walked their way to the cafeteria.

"Do you like someone?"

When Seulgi asked that, Lisa panicked.

She certainly couldn't tell her that she had been in love with Jennie since her freshman year in high school.

The very thought of confessing made her legs tremble.

"What? Me? Oh? No! I- I don't like anyone at all..."

Lisa answered quickly trying to look away so as not to show Seulgi her completely red cheeks.

Seulgi looked at her doubtfully

"Oh.... Mh... You're a bit suspicious Lalisa ..."

"I don't know what you mean"

Lisa recovered and replied, this time looking into her eyes, trying to look confident.

Chaeyoung already knows too much,and she will be the only one to, that's not much but for sure.

Seulgi this time seems to believe her, her theater show worked.

"Mh... I understand-but I totally have a crush for Bae joohyun!..."

Seulgi admitted proudly.

"You mean Irene?"

Lisa asked her, familiar with the name.

"Yes! She is so beautiful ... a fallen angel from heaven, don't you think?"

Seulgi asked her dreamily.

"Er... Yeah,she's quite beautiful"

The blonde replied, recalling the brunette in her head.

'If I'm not mistaken...she's a friend of Jennie...'

She thought with furrowed eyebrows.

"I always try to approach her! But the more I try, the more it seems impossible to get closer to her ...."

"Oh? Why?"

Lisa asked curiously.

The two stopped, Seulgi was about to answer when a voice interrupted them.

"Laliiii! Seulgii!!!!"

They looked around and saw Rosé calling them not far from the cafeteria.

"Hey Rosie"
Lisa greeted back as she approached the other blonde, followed by Seulgi

"Everything's fine?"

"We were just talking about ... things."

Lisa answered, looking amusedly at Seulgi who immediately returned her gaze

"hahaha, yeah ... and you Rosie? You're here alone?"

Seulgi asked, looking around, probably looking for Jennie...

"No, I'm waiting for Jennie. She's in the bathroom right now. And Jisoo?... Where is she?"

The taller girl asked looking around.

"She should come in a bit"

Seulgi answered simply.

The three girls were immersed in their conversations, when another voice caught their attention.

"Girls?"

They turned and saw Jennie, accompanied by someone else apparently.

"Hey Jennie-" "Irene!"

Seulgi interrupted Chaeyoung as soon as she saw Bae Joohyun, walking next to the other brunette.

Irene's eyes widened as soon as she saw the bear girl.

"Oh, no..."

Irene whispered

'Lord help me'

She thought, looking at the girl with irritation.

"You guys know each other?"

Jennie asked curiously

"Yes!"  "No!"

They both answered at the same time, and then looked at each others.

"..."

"Do you know each other yes or no?"

Chaeyoung interjected, now even more curious than before

"Ugh ... She's  just a ... strange... acquaintance?"

Irene answered obviously disturbed.

"We are friends. Great friends"

Seulgi approached her with a big smile on her face

"Stay away from me..."

Irene whispered annoyed.

Lisa giggled at the sight

'Now I understand what you meant before ....'

Lisa thought, realizing what Seulgi was referring to earlier.

"Irene are you joining us for lunch?"

Jennie asked slightly confused by the strange behavior of the two.

"Will Seulgi be there?"

She asked back.

"Ehmm..."

Jennie looked at the other girls for an answer.

She obviously didn't want Seulgi to join in, but she couldn't be rude and say so.

"Yes, she stays with us"

Rosé answered instead.

"Then no. Thanks but no"

Irene smiled at them before running away, leaving behind an amused Lisa, a Jennie and a Rosé confused, and  a Seulgi a bit saddened.

"Ok?..."

Jennie mumbled terribly confused.

"haha"

Lisa chuckled attracting her attention.

Jennie smiled softly at the sight.

"We'll wait for Jisoo Unnie inside ... I'm too hungry to wait for that crackhead"

Chaeyoung dragged them into the cafeteria,now exhausted from waiting.
