Voice Acting Appreciation post

How are you doing?

As for me, this school year seems better than I expected so far. There are a lot of things happening actually so I won't go into detail and I 'll get right into the fangirling lol

Obvioulsy, we can all appreciate a good film when we see it judging it based on acting/animation, plot, music, meanings etc but there's one particular part of the animation world that remains pretty unnoticed. Why does nobody talk about voice acting?

I think it's a really interesting and difficult job, no? And there are some people who convey the drama and the emotion of their role so incredibly well that they truly leave me speechless. And if you haven't already guessed it, yes, this is going to be a list of my favourite voices in animation lol

So what if I told you that this

Are voiced by the same person?

Namely ✨Yuki Kaji✨. Honestly for some reason when I found that out I was really excited for a week or so lmao (also in case you don't know, the first is Shoto Todoroki from My Hero Academia and the later, Eren Yeager, the protagonist of Attack On Titan). It's because of him that I started to appreciate the voices. He honestly is AMAZING at conveying the emotion and the personality of the character he is portraying. I mean, okay, Shoto doesn't seem that hard to portray considering he doesn't express his emotions intensely but Eren- well EREN- He is the protagonist in a violent, dark fantasy drama which is about how the cruelty of life turned a child into a total psycho so... Just listen to this (don't watch it tho- it's Attack On Titan we are talking about!):

Actually, the other people in the studio have said that during the creation of season 4, Yuki Kaji was so caught up with his role that they thought he was "possessed" by Eren.

And then you hear him voicing completely different characters and you just stay there wondering how the duck does he sound so different-

Now now, that's actually the only voice actor I know the name of XD
As for the rest, I don't really know their names or what other roles they play in different series, but I really like their voices so here we are :)

Since I started with anime, let's continue with anime:

Konan (Naruto: Shippuden)

Her voice is so awe-inspiring and poetic, just beautiful 👌 ALSO I HAVE ANOTHER RANT COMING FOR THAT CHARACTER BECAUSE SHE IS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL BUT THE SERIES COMPLETELY IGNORES HER EXISTENCE LIKE-

Naruto Uzumaki (can you guess it tho?)

Yeah his voice is also one of my favourites! It's pretty unique, isn't it? By the way did you know that he is voiced by a woman?

+ The entire Uhiha clan because their voices are really deep + Minato and Sai because their voices are deep but soft at the same time lol

But like EVERYONE LOVES HIS VOICE HOW COULD I NOT?
It's so unique and full of emotions. Simply amazing!
Btw the actor's name is Dante Basco :)

And finally here are three characters from The Dragon Prince whose voices I like:

-Ethari
Sadly I can't find any videos with him >:0 But he has a nice, calm and soft voice with a really Scottish accent and I just love Scottish accents XD

-Rayla
More Scottish accents >:)
The reason why I like her voice sm is because of the way she speaks. I can't quite explain it but she puts an unique emphasis on the words. Noot like the "kid's-movie-kind-of-emphasis", it reminds of the way the characters in some of my favourite live-action Medieval series talk, like that dude here
