Nancy sat down on the couch with Leo hoping not to bring up what she has been through with him. Meanwhile on the couch, Leo scooted over from the middle cushion of the couch to the right, while still frowning.

"Wow," Beth said. "I think ever since Nancy's been dating that Mike kid that died, Leo must have been keeping a far distance from her." "We'll worry about that later," Gerald explained. "Alright kids, as you must know, we haven't been truly truthful with you, and now your friends in high school are getting slaughtered in their own sleep."

"Who else died, besides Mike?" Nancy asked. "You're other friends, Nancy," Beth answered. "Remember, Jake, Madison, and Jude? You all use to be good friends before you started dating. You even spent a lot of time in preschool before reuniting." "Wait we did?" Leo asked. "How come we didn't remember that, before meeting at high school on our first day?" Nancy agreed. "We're going to tell you what happened," Gerald answered. "It connects with their deaths."

Sheriff Templeton pulled out a picture framed photograph which was the exact same copy of the one that Leo found in his house's attic, only it didn't have the signing with the K initial next to Freddy written on the side, and it was medium sized to fit the frame. "This was taken by Leo's father on his birthday when you were all 5 years old," Gerald explained. "All of you were at that party, including those you haven't seen before, and the friends you just lost this month." Both Leo, and Nancy were shocked.

"If you'll look closer at the man standing with you wearing the sweater, I'll explain what his deal is," Gerald explained. "His name is Frederick C. Krueger, the preschool groundskeeper. He was in charge of chaperoning your class during field trips outside of the preschool, and during recess, while the teacher was busy with other stuff. You both would seem to thing he was normal, but the truth is, he wasn't. Frederick had a dark side that he's kept hidden from us. Dozens of parents came by our own office, and informed us that their children were missing, and we decided to investigate every room in the preschool."

"What gave it away?" Nancy asked. "What did you find?" "Under the preschool was a boiler room with a furnace, and a desk full of tools, and the razor glove that Leo found yesterday after school," Gerald answered. "Not only that, but we also saw the toys that some of the students at that preschool played with, that were now destroyed, and clothes of the children who got murdered. This groundskeeper had to be stopped, so we had no other choice. As we the police arrived at Frederick's house, we arrested him, and placed him behind bars. The groundskeeper stayed in that cell for a monthly punishment, hoping that he won't escape, and then sent him to court for his actions." "So what happened next?" Nancy asked. "Did he end up in prison, and escape?"
