"She did what?" Oliver hissed into the phone.

His hands clenched into a fist.

"I just thought I'd tell you." Shawn mumbled into the phone.

"Are you sure she invited him?"

"He's not that bad." Shawn said quietly.

What was wrong with him? Wasn't he supposed to be on his side?

"Yeah, when he's not practically glued to Maia." Oliver grumbled, "Do you think he likes her?"

"I hope not."

"What about her, do you think she likes him?"

He heard Shawn sigh, "Look, man, you're going to have to ask her that. I'll talk to you later."

Oliver frowned, "Is something up with you?"

"Nah, just need sleep."

He looked at the watch. 7:32.

"If you're sure. Bye, man."

"Bye."

Oliver frowned.

Something was up with Shawn. He never slept before eleven.

Just then, the bell rang.

"Would you get that, Oli?" His mother yelled from wherever she was.

"Yup," He yelled back before walking to the door.

Maia stood there with a frown on her face.

"I wouldn't have rung the bell, but I seem to have misplaced my key again." She said, "I need to talk to you."

"I already know," Oliver muttered leaning against the door, "You invited Logan to come camping."

Maia blinked, "I did, but that wasn't what I came to talk to you about. Are you going to let me in or not?"

He didn't like the way Maia just brushed him off.

"This is serious, Maia. You can't just invite a stranger to go camping with us without asking us first." He told her.

She let out an annoyed breath, "He's not a stranger. And excuse me if I have bigger problems right now. I thought I could talk to you. Apparently not."

She turned around and started to walk away, blinking back tears.

"Apparently not," Oliver muttered and shut the door behind her.

Shit. I can't believe I just wrote that.
