"Dad?"
"Honey," He sounded tired, almost defeated.
"Dad what's wrong? Where are you and mom?"
"Honey...there's been an accident."
She froze.
"What are you saying dad? Are you alright?"
She could hear him sigh, "Sweetie just go to Oliver's house and wait for me like a good girl."
"I'm not a child dad." She bit out, "Just tell me what the frick is going on. Is it mom?"
There was a silence.
"What happened to her?" She whispered.
Her father gulped. She couldn't see him but she knew he was crying on the other end.
"Your mom fell down the stairs." He whispered. "She broke her neck
."The phone slid out of her hand and fell to the floor, and the screen went blank.
