"I'm kind of surprised you brought Orabella as your guest. Are the two of you-" She began.

"No mom. There's nothing going on between us." I quickly told her, cutting her off.

She nodded her head in response but from the look on her face, I knew that she didn't believe me.

"Alright alright. I'll leave it alone... for now." I couldn't help but sigh out as I followed her to the dining room.

Both her and Anna May will be the death of me.

When we walked into the room, everyone was just taking their seats.

"Hello everyone! I'm so glad that all of you could make it today. Unfortunately my youngest son, Rome had basketball practice and will be staying with his friend." My mom began.

I still don't understand why he tried out for the team. He hates basketball. Hell, he barely talks to people.

"He's really good at it too! I went to his game last weekend. You should've been there Cole." Delilah spoke out, Reyna agreeing.

"Well, you know he's always so busy with work and everything. He barely has any time for his family, let alone a basketball game." Reyna added.

I couldn't help but clench my jaw at her words. I felt Orabella staring at me but I didn't give a damn. Why was Reyna always acting like this?

"There no need to get mad at what I'm saying. I'm only speaking the truth-" She began.

"Shut the hell up."

Everyone's attention was now on Orabella who spoke out, "Excuse me?"

"I know the two of us never got along since we were kids. But you have changed, you weren't like this. Back then you were just sassy and overprotective about your brother. But now... all I see in front of me today is someone who is all about herself. You're so selfish and you don't think you're doing anything wrong.

This is a family dinner! You're suppose to be laughing and joking about the old times. Yet here you are, targeting your brother for what? Are you jealous that you're not running the company? Are you upset that your dad didn't ask you?

Or maybe it's because he has more important things to do instead of staring at a bunch of cameras all day? You have no idea how hard Cole works, how late he stays up just to make sure everything is done." Orabella snapped.

"I- I do know how hard he works! He barely has time for his own family and it's like he doesn't even care!" Reyna yelled back.

"Well how about you try talking to him instead of bashing him in front of everyone? You should be supporting him right now!" Orabella shot back.
