Back at Joe's house, Adrien discovered something from Joe's bedroom.

Adrien,

I know it's hard to recover, but I have to do this. Chloe, Alya and I have to do this. We decided to help the cops of the case for Marinette's death. While all is going on, please take care of the rest of the friends for us, and remind them to don't come with us if we have something else. Thanks!

-Joe

Adrien realized that the three needed help from the cops, so he accepted it. From afar, Mario and Lorenzo came.

"We should stop Joe.," Adrien said as the two Italians approched him. "I don't want to get them to get even more hurt after Marinette's death.," he added.

"Don't worry, Adrien, they told us about it.," Lorenzo calmly answered.

"Besides, they're the ones in our group discovered Marinette's death, and they started thier fight, so let them finish that fight.," Mario added.

"Are you sure about it?," Adrien asked. The two nods in agreement.

Meanwhile, Marinette's parents, Tom and Sabine, also discovered the video clip that Joe played previously, and they also left with a bad memory. Sabine was still crying, knowing that Lila really was the one who drained the confidence of her own daughter, and died without her knowing. Tom, on the other hand, asked Roger and Eva for more clues.

"Do you two have more clues?"

"No more just yet. Fittingly, this USB could be another piece of evidence against Ms. Rossi for the death of your daughter.," Eva answered. "We're making sure that this case will move forward.," she added.

"Thank you officiers.," Sabine said.

As both Roger and Eva leave, Tom approched Joe, who is again alongside Alya and Chloe.

"I just wanna say thanks for your help.," Tom said.

"For what?"

"For giving Marinette strength in her hardest times, and also with the USB that she used for that final message.," Tom answered.

"It's ok, Mr. Dupain.," Joe said. "I am very much thankful that your daughter was my friend for the longest time I was here in this city. And don't worry about my USB, Marinette used it wisely for that action against Lila.," he added.

As the three left the Dupain-Cheng Bakery, they talked about Joe's style of recovery.

"So, what is going to be for your recovery, Joe?," Alya asked.

"I don't know.," Joe answered.

"Why is that?," Chloe asked.

"I just don't know the answer.," Joe said. "Maybe I should focus on the case rather than having recovery. It's hard to think about missing Marinette while forgetting the tragedy."

"It's okay, Joe. You'll find a way.," Chloe said.

"Besides, we all got sad when Marinette died. Let's just start our recovery.," Alya adviced.

"Thanks. Really appriciated.," Joe said and smiled. Both girls also smiled at the Filipino after saying 'you're welcome'.
