Why not? Being surrounded by men meant stupid things were bound to happen.

In this case the result was that Spider thought it would be a great idea to take them all and see how they claimed their Ikran.

I had many things against it, for once they wouldn't treat them like a living being, they'll just see it as transport and then there was also the fact that they were not Na'vi.

So yeah, I was a little mad when they all accepted Spider's idea and none listened to my complaints.

"Come on, it will be fun" Spider told me as we kept climbing to get to the nest.

I hiss at him and that brings the attention of the team. I don't care, I'm not okay with this.

"You know why you don't have an Ikran? because you're not Na'vi" I tell him and I know I hurt him very bad, this kid has grown amongst us and he was still wearing some of the blue paint that he had when they captured us. I knew, we all knew he desperately wished to be a part of us.

But I was mad.

"This is not a game Spider. This is our culture" One of the soldiers laughs at that and I hiss.

"I hope they all take your heads apart" I say in Na'vi, faster than I ever spoken to them and I think that for the most part they all got the -heads- and that was it.

"Enough" Quartich says in Na'vi to me and with that everyone shuts up and continues walking.

I can already hear the Ikran, we're too far up and I can't help but miss mine, Inet.

Out of instinct I call for her, the sound gaining a few weird looks from the other soldiers but I don't care. She had to be somewhere around here, even if she was at the base camp she must hear my calling.

But then I think clearly about it and shut up, I don't want her here, I don't want to risk them seeing her and trying to capture her or something.

"What now?" the female soldier asks

I walked away, I would not teach them this if they wanted to try then Spider could tell them.

For a while I just hear murmurs and I concentrate on the floating mountains, so many Ikran live here and they are all so pretty. I get distracted when I hear them all gasp and Spider shouts.

Out of instinct, once again, I reach for my axe but it isn't there so I just approach.

"Where's Quaritch?" I ask but none answer, Spider is looking out at the freefall.

"Spider... where is he?"

"He got on the Ikran but... but it moved and I, I didn't have time to explain Tsaheylu"

I hiss and kick a rock away.

"What?" One soldier asked me.

"Did he tie it?" I ask them.

"If he tied it how would it fly?" The female asks.

"You are all idiots" I curse and look out again.

We are all expecting for something... a sound, a move, anything. But minutes pass by and there's nothing.

"Let's go guys" One of the soldiers, Slovich, says.

They walk with their heads down and even Spider seems eager to get away from here. I try having a little more hope... he had to have learned something from all our time together... if he managed not to be eaten by the Ikran he must have known that he had to bond with it. I hope.

We are all surprised when he appeares with a shout and the soldiers cheered.

"So who's next?" he asks with a big smile on.
