I'm now covered in sweat, blood and bruises but at least I have my son and husband with me.

We haven't moved from the jungle yet, I really feel like I need to rest so we're here.

My back rests against Miles's chest as I hold our baby on my chest, I smile remembering how Miles cried when we first heard our boy cry.

He is tiny and perfect. For now it's hard to say who he looks more like but, he has five fingers and toes just like his dad.

"You were so brave my love," Miles tells me giving my head a kiss.

"Thank you," I whisper in response.

"I was scared for you but I caught glimpses of you fighting and throwing that axe and I was suddenly afraid of you," he says and we both laugh.

"I'm so so glad you're okay," I tell him turning a little so I can look into his eyes.

"Same goes to you," a soft smile appears on his face and his eyes go to our son. "You too little guy, you had us all scared," he says.

"Very scared," I admit and Miles hugs me closer, his finger accidentally touches my arm where it hurts and I hiss.

"We need to check that too, I'm afraid of how much damage he did to you," Miles says examining my arm again.

"At least I don't think it's broken," I say.

"I just hope there's no internal damage either," he says biting his lip.

I don't want him to worry anymore, we've had enough for today.

"Time for you to hold him," I tell him turning around.

"But-But-...," he doesn't even know what to say.

When the women see what I'm doing they come close so they instruct him how to correctly hold the baby.

Miles looks scared all the time until the baby sighs and keeps sleeping in his arms. There's a big smile in all of our faces. Miles can't stop looking at our son, his free hand gently traces the luminescent marks on his body and each one of his fingers, he tilts his head like that will hide his tears and keeps appreciating our baby.

"Don't cry my love," I tell him caressing his cheek.

"I love you so much," he looks at me. "I love you and our family, thanks for giving me the things I'll love most for the rest of my life," he says.

His stupid words make me cry and I hug him as I can without crushing the baby.

"I love you too, forever," I tell him.

I notice that Neytiri is looking at us and even she can't hide her smile.

She and the others were scattered around not toocfar but not that close to give us privacy.

"Neytiri, have you talked with Jake? How's everyone?" I ask her. Ronal and the other women come closer, interested in what the fate of today's warriors was.

"We won, at least for now. All of them who came to the island today are dead and people are in the next village for security,"

"Can you ask for Tonowari? how's he? and my daughter and son? I left Kenerisi with them," Ronal says.

Neytiri talks to the microphone again.

"You know, I'm jealous of them... they get to talk like that and when all of this started I was scared for you, I wanted to talk to you and know where you were but I don't have one of those things," I tell Miles.

"I'll get you one, love," He says. His fingers are gently traicing our babies hand and then the baby wraps it's hand around his finger.

The moment is interrupted by some discussion behind us.
