I want to fight against it, I tell myself that maybe I'm wrong but I'm not. The baby is coming.

"Miles," I whisper in fear.

He looks more determined than I've ever seen him.

"Let me get Neytiri, don't move," He tells me and runs away fast, as he goes I hear gunshots.

The people from the ship are probably already here too.

Why did you have to come now? I wonder to my son.

I can't be too quiet as I feel another contraction coming.

"Anatuat!" Neytiri announces herself coming to me.

"Aunt," I cry in fear and relief.

"How long?" She asks.

I'm not sure I understand her.

"For how long have you been feeling like this?"

"I guess for a while but I- I- I'm getting this pain more often," I explain to her.

"Anatuat! You should've said something, you were in no condition to fight," Neytiri says.

I look myself up and down, I'm covered in blood and sand. Not precisely how someone calm would look like.

"What now?" I ask.

"I think the best option is to try and get deep into the jungle. We can't risk just staying here and the kids and other people need to evacuate," she says.

My breath catches when I think about walking all the way deep into the jungle like this, I don't think I'll be able to.

"Neytiri..." I say and then have another contraction.

"We need to go, now. I'll tell Jake and Miles to tell Ronal and other women to follow us, I'll need some help," she tells me.

Neytiri grabs the microphone on her neck and calls Jake. I can hear cries and roars from the people fighting around us and my instincts urge me to fight, but I can't.

"She's having the baby, I need to help her," she says. "Just tell Ronal to please bring four trusted women with her and she'll probably catch onto us," she says.

I take deep breaths as I'm just here waiting, one hand rests on my hip, and the other one I was going to lean on the rock but I didn't remember that the robot crushed it and I hiss in pain.

"Jake! We can't fly, she can't fly like this. I'll have to cover as we make our way to the jungle and you'll have to tell the warriors to evacuate the kids and older people," she says desperately.

I wish I had one of those so I could talk to Miles.

"Come on, let's walk around and I'll cover you," she tells me.

I take out my right axe, my left arm is in no condition to throw anything right now.

"Anatuat, just focus on getting to the other side," Neytiri tells me.

"I won't just run, if I can bring anyone down, I will," I say trying to steady my breath.

Neytiri shakes her head but doesn't argue anymore.

"We're coming out," Neytiri tells Jake.

I guess they will also cover us as we try to move.

I take a deep breath and start walking, when I don't have contractions I don't really feel pain, we're crossing the beach and we're close to reaching the pods when I hear shots firing rapidly.

I lower down by instinct but it's not a great position for me or my huge stomach.

"Try to keep walking," Neytiri tells me, she covers us as I make my best try to go far.
