***QUICK NOTE: Hi, first of alk thanks for all of you who worried about me and thanks for your patience, truth is the first day I missed an update I had some problems with my boyfriend and I just couldn't write in that state of mind, the second day I started writing the chapter but I couldn't finish it the way I liked it and I just can't write something I don't like for you.
Every chapter, everything I write and add to the story is because I genuinly liked it and spend time writing it, so just know that if I take my time is because I want to write something with quality.
That said, here's the chapter I hope you like it and I'm gonna keep writing to see if I can deliver more than one today.
Thanks for being here💙***

"Stop it," I whisper playfully to Miles as we gather to eat and celebrate that a kid from the clan got his Ilu.

We're all at the Beach around a big fire and we all have food to share.

Miles flicks away another piece of fishtail and hits a person who turns around looking for the responsible. I smack his hand so he doesn't do it anymore but he has a big smirk on his face.

"Miles, come on, they're gonna get mad," I tell him.

Later, the time for eating is over and now it's time to dance. All celebrations are joined by music and dance.

The circle of people starts to disperse as they make space for the ones who will dance.

"No, not this," Miles says rubbing his forehead.

"Yes this," I say playfully.

It's cool to look around and feel like we belong here. At least for moments during the day, I forget that I'm from the forest clan and better yet that I'm with the prisoner. In those moments we're just part of the clan.

We've only been here for a week but it's been peaceful enough.

"God..." Miles sighs.

He likes being here too... sometimes. I see he enjoys the water and hunting and having to execute chores, the clothes are still an issue to him though.

Somehow he managed to turn his loincloth into something more like some shorts and another thing that differentiates his clothing is how he wears those dog tags around his neck.

On the other hand, I love how he looks. He's so muscular and strong, every day he workouts no matter what, and it shows.

Some of the girls from the tribe like him and I know it, but I like that he doesn't even turn to look at them.

"I really don't like to dance," he tells me in a pleading tone.

I don't care, it's fun. At least for me is fun and happy I'm happy to finally feel some familiarity.

I start dancing and join the circle of people, there are always dances that involve all the people so it's not that hard to follow along, after a while the music changes and now it's time for us to move more freely.

I see Miles still standing a little afar, he has his arms crossed but he looks at me with a big smile, I smile back.

I extend my arms and twirl, the good energy of all the clan is rubbing off on me and I like it, suddenly someone takes my hand and I'm confused until I notice that is Miles.

"Hi," I salute and take his other hand.

"You look so pretty I just couldn't help but come to dance, I still don't know what to do though," he says.

"I'll guide you," I propose. I take a few moments to make him see how everyone else moves to the music, then I tell him to listen to the drums and people chanting and humming, then I tell him to just let his body move.
