Author's Notes:

I, The Wonderland, just had foot surgery, so I am able to do some more work on this story if I don't fall asleep so fast! But, I am here, and ready to lay in bed and kick butt on these upcoming chapters.

So, update, Reactions WILL get better, it seems as if some episodes have shocking moments but nothing major. They've been hard to write lately.

Also, we did publish another one-shot chapter to Trollhunters and it did not go as expected. That will be marked as completed. We can still play around with it but the React Series is a huge project that takes up all our time and unfortunately, the One-Shot book had died out. Sorry!

Side Notes:

Please, enjoy!

______

Soft orchestral music plays as the basement of Lake Residence was seen, Barbara surrounded by her numerous canvases. She had been peacefully working, touching up a current artwork, before glancing at it.

She leaned to dip the paintbrush into the fresh can of paint, coating it before scribbling on the canvas, smiling proudly at her work when she pulled away. She hummed in satisfaction as the camera panned up the image.

It had been Jim, striking a hero pose as he was cladded in his armor. She hadn't seemed to recognize it until she stroked the brush against the jawline of the boy. The music seemed to quiet as her eyes stared at the face of the boy.

Jim tensed, staring directly at the photo of him. Despite this being the future, which had been very unpredictable already, he had feared that she would remember once again. He wasn't ready for her to find out the first time, and the fact that the secret he had buried under the rug had appeared once more, he started mentally swearing.

He could not protect her from this, no matter how hard he tried to keep her out of it. Either he was cursed or he was just too worried about something that shouldn't need much attention. But, it is his mother, her safety was important to him.

"She finds out again? Gosh, can we ever get anything to work for us?" Toby yelled.

"No, we've been over this, our luck is shot."

It seemed as if the wind was howling, the music turns to a suspenseful noise as she whispered out, "Jim." She pulled away with a gasp, turning to face the much larger canvas which had supported the evil smirk of Strickler in his Troll form.

The eyes seemed to glow as she backed away, head snapping in the direction of Blinky's abstract photo. As if it was racing toward her, Barbara closed her eyes, holding her head, images flashing in her mind.

"Well, isn't this just great, she remembers."

"Just when things start getting real!"

"The brain is a powerful thing, old memories forced to be erased can always have a scar and can be remembered."

"Eli, no one cares."

Angor and Strickler fueded in Jim's bedroom, the said boy ducking away from the fight and leading his mother out of the room. "Get outta here!" Jim cried.

Another flash of light, another yelp from Barbara as she seemed to shield herself away, another memory.

"We have to get to the hospital," Jim said, Strickler, sitting dizzily in the front seat of the car while Jim supported his weakened mother in the back. "Can't!" Strickler coughed.
