Classical music started the episode, a rather close view of a boy on a poster, sharing a resemblance to Jim as muffled voices of Merlin and the Trollhunters arguing about their situation. Their conversation had been mostly drowned out due by the music but still audible.

"..If not Gunmar, then another monster," Merlin started as Jim stared at the poster, wide eyes full of grief and shock as it seemed he was drowning out the conversation, focused on the image.

"Let me get this straight. You want Gunmar to release Morgana?" Blinky asked, seeming angered and shocked as Toby joined in.

"Merlin, I thought you were here to save the world, not destroy it!" While they argued, the poster that Jim had been staring at hopelessly, was an image of a Vespa, reminding him of the one he had lost.

"I like how the fate of the world is being decided and Jim doesn't care about that, he's in his own little world, more worried about his Vespa."

"Hey, it meant a lot to him. Especially he and Blinky had built it together."

"I'm not destroying the world, I'm risking it! The world harbors greater dangers, not just the ones in your little town."

"Wow, that makes me feel so much better," Steve spat sarcastically. "I thought he was a good guy."

"He is the good guy," Eli stated.

"Not how I'm seeing it."

"Whoa!" Toby cried, the music still continuing and echoing their voices. "What dangers?"

"You could not hope to understand." Claire turned to face her dazed boyfriend who barely reacted to her calling his name, only ridding of the music and making their voices clear.

"Jim, Jim. Jim!"

"You want to weigh in here," Toby stated. "Merlin just dropped the bomb, we have to let Morgana loose."

"Wait," Jim finally spoke out. "He destroyed my Vespa."

"Obviously there are more pressing and concerning issues," Mary joked as she looked at Jim.

"I'm in shock! Man, I have to lose my Vespa! Not that you guys don't deserve cool armor." He glanced at his friends, smiling.

"He what?" Blinky replied. "See, then you must listen to the voice of reason. Mine."

"Gunmar has the staff of Avalon, soon he will find a way to free her. This is when we will strike. Together, we'll slay Morgana before the Eternal Night starts."

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. I'm sorry, you want Jim to go up against Gunmar and Angor Rot and Morgana?" Toby panicked but Merlin didn't seem too nervous about the situation.

"Now is the time to strike. She's been imprisoned for centuries, and she will be at her weakest. This is our best chance."

"Okay, can we point out that we saw what Morgana has done to Claire?" Eli started.
