CHAPTER 47

Just like what Sumedh said, Mallika fantasises alot about her pre-wedding photoshoot and videography. As for Mallika, photos and videos are important. Because, one day later in the future, that is what will make us smile as we would get a flashback of our memories.

The Monday morning started with a long drive to the next city. After hours of travelling, Sumellika finally reached their destination for the photoshoot. Their first theme was nature based. Their location was in beautiful green woods where a tree house is located.

Mallika wore a beautiful dark green gown which enhanced her beauty.

Sumedh was also matching her with a dark green shirt.

Their first photo shoot begins with a pose where Sumellika is sitting in the tree house while Mallika rests her head on Sumedh's shoulder. The second pose goes like Sumedh kisses Mallika's feet and rests his head on them.

Their next theme was waterfalls. Mallika wore a simple light blue dress and Sumedh was in an elegant similar colour shirt.

One of the clicks went like Mallika splashing water on Sumedh who was standing while sitting on a rock. After plenty more clicks, their final few clicks were when they were drenched by the falling natural water.

Next, they took pictures as in sports theme. They took pictures of them jogging together, sitting on a bench in the park in their sports attire. To add more spice to that theme, Mallika sat on Sumedh's back reading a book while he was pumping.

They took many more pictures in different themes such as the morning household theme where Sumellika are in white casuals doing their chores together, Holi Theme as that's when they met first, painting theme where they both tried to paint on a canvas but painted each other instead.

"Sir, for the final shot, we require you to kiss madam. It'll be a close-up click." The photographer said.

"Okay, like on the forehead or the cheek?" Sumedh asked innocently to which Mallika laughed.

"What?" Sumedh was puzzled.

"Sir, you are required to kiss Madam on her lips. Like a smooch!" The lightman said.

"Oh shoot! Can we not make a smooch content here? I'm saving it for after marriage." Sumedh said scratching his head.

"But sir, she's your fiance. What's the matter in kissing her now?"

"You will not understand that!" Sumedh said while looking at Mallika. Mallika instantly understood what is he thinking. He was keeping his word that nothing will happen between him and Mallika without her consent. Mallika's heart was filled with warmth. She smiled at him and held his hand showing her affection towards him.

"We'll make it as a forehead kiss. Anything more romantic than that?" Sumedh winked at the cameraman. They smiled and did as he said.

Besides all these, Sumellika also took a videography of their journey of togetherness, from the Holi festival, library incidents, coffee shop incident, Instagram requests, love proposals and then finally their marriage proposal. They wanted to make their marriage as memorable as possible. Anvisht were also involved in this shooting. All these pictures and videos will be delivered before their wedding reception.

After three days of their photoshoot and videography, Sumellika, Anvisht and Mallika's parents went shopping to purchase sarees, lehengas, kurtas, and jewellery for Sumellika and her relatives. They spent almost a week completing their shopping.

Sumellika's wedding is fixed for 2 weeks. Meanwhile, all the other preparations such as hall bookings, catering service, decoration service, and bridal & henna booking were done. Ruby's house, Sumedh's current house and Anvisht's house were decorated with LED lights, flower curtains and balloons. A wedding is not a one-day process, it's a lifelong memory.

In addition to other good news, Sumedh and Mallika's dream house was completely renovated with all furniture and electrical appliances. That house was decorated too.

"All done!" Anvisht dusted their hands standing in front of Sumedh's new house.

"Not yet! It's not done yet until the knot is tied!" Sumedh said placing his hand on Pravisht's shoulder.

"I agree!" Mallika hugged Anika by the side. Sumellika looked at each other while blushing.

"I guess, we are the third-wheelers now!" Anika whispered to Pravisht to which he nod.
