The story continues....

The events that happened next were almost a blur to her, Kakashi had helped in saving Kurai's life from Miyako taking it in revenge, and so many other emotions. Kakashi had went to get Lord Third, like he said he was going to do. Lord Third had informed him that the Leaf had won the war against the Tanaka clan. Information that had given Miyako immense relief. She knew that a huge factor in them winning the war had been her and Kakashi's winning battle against Kurai. To Miyako's relief, everything had ended the way she hoped it would. The Leaf had finished the war with the Tanaka clan, and Kurai had been brought into custody by the Leaf. Never to torment, or repress Miyako's life again.

A few days had pasted since all who had went to war from the Leaf made it back to the village safely. Including Miyako and Kakashi.

Kakashi had been admitted to the Konoha's hospital the moment they had made it back. He had been there for the last few days. Miyako had went to visit him each day since they made it back. She was actually on her way to spend the day with him now. His medial ninja doctor had mentioned that today would probably be the day that he was finally released from the hospital, and how he was pretty much fully healed from the almost fatal injuries he had sustained. Miyako had more so just been bruised up a bit from the whole incident. Which she was thankful for, but also continued to feel guilty about.

Miyako made her way down the streets of the village on what felt like a nice sunny day. This village that had finally become a permanent home to her. Something she had longed for for her whole life, and had finally come true. She smiled to herself at the thought. As she took in all the sights and sounds that would bring her such comfort for the rest of her life. She had a small basket of a few fresh fruit in hand, that she had brought along for Kakashi.

"Mia-chan!!"

She heard a very cheerful voice call from the right of her, from one of the shops off to the side. She looked over to see Sakura waving from the Ichiraku Ramen shop. She was seated at one of the stools, with Naruto on her right waving as well, and Sasuke on her left just glancing over his shoulder trying not to make a big deal of seeing Miyako. Looking closely enough, you could see a very small smirk across his face.

"Hey Sakura-chan." Miyako said and waved to the three of them. Sakura came running over and the two hugged each other tightly.

"Are you going to visit Kakashi sensei?" Sakura asked looking up at Miyako. Miyako nodded with a faint smile. "Tell him we all say hi, and can't wait for him to be better, so that we can all get back to training and missions, will you?" Sakura asked sweetly. "Of course I will. You three will be the first one's he sees when he gets out. Which should be very soon. Don't worry." Miyako said and pat Sakura lightly on the top of her head. Sakura giggled lightly and turned to walk back to her seat between Naruto and Sasuke. Naruto waved to Miyako with a big smile on his face. He had his ramen bowl in his hand still and was slurping his noodles while smiling. Miyako laughed to herself lightly and waved back, before continuing on towards the Leaf hospital.

Miyako walked into the hospital and said hello to the medical ninja working the front desk and waked down the hall to Kakashi's room. She had more than acclimated herself with the way around the hospital. She proceeded down a long corridor, until she made her way to room 208 and knocked quietly, before entering into the hospital room. The privacy curtain that all hospital beds had surrounding them was pulled closed. Miyako walked up to the curtain and grabbed the one end of it. "Kakashi..." She said quietly as she gently pulled back the curtain. There was no reply, as she pulled the curtain completely open, she was met with an empty hospital bed. Her heart skipped a beat at the sight of the empty bed. She frantically turned around and survived the hospital room. There was no sight of Kakashi. She rushed over to the small bathroom that was attached to his room and yanked open the door. "Kakashi!" She almost yelled in her panicked state. Again, the bathroom was also empty. She spun on her heels and dropped her fruit basket, heading toward the hospital door to go get help and find Kakashi. Her mind was racing with every worst case scenario she could think of.
