The three nobles left in the Belgrave castle rushed out to the yard to see what the roar had come from. Brandon spotted a servant looking up at the sky in fear and he too looked up.
"The Cannibal" lady Rhaeny's gasp only confirmed what they were all seeing.
A dragon the size none had seen since Balerion the Black with the same colouring of scales, the darkest of blacks, was doing turns around his territory.

Thanatos felt accomplished when his little partner let out a happy sound when he dived shortly before coming back up. She seemed to enjoy it when he flew faster and did weird things in the air.
He would enjoy their bond.

Aurora, who in her previous life had been a sort of adrenaline junkie (from all sorts of carnaval rides, to bungee jumping or sky diving) was most certainly enjoying the constant butterflies she felt in her stomach as the dragon dived and weaved every which way.
It felt like skydiving but with more liberty as to what to do since she was now on a living, conscious creature that didn't have to control the height at which they found themselves.

"Thanatos, do you see that place?" although the dragon did not see where she was pointing he somehow knew where she meant.
He angled his massive body to the empty field besides the big stone structure the two legged people often were in.

The people at the Belgrave castle panicked even more when the black creature veered himself down and so close to them.

Rhaenys had called for Meleys and the Red Queen, named so for her red scales, now stood protectively by her rider, though she shied away slightly when the much larger dragon lumbered forth.

The smaller female hissed at him making Thanatos growl low and quiet her.

"Don't make any sudden moves" Rhaenys advised the two men who stood with their hands already on their sheathed blades behind her.
When their hands moved closer to their hilts the dragon snapped its eyes to them and showed his teeth which were easily as long as their swords and very thick.

Aurora could see the tension their entrance was causing and she patted her dragon's back to tell him to lower so she could get off.
