She nodded her head at Aurora and begun to climb up to the dragon's back carefully stepping in the correct places that Aurora sometimes  pointed out. It took her a few minutes and left her nearly panting once she had finally made it to the top.

Aurora waited for Thanatos to bend his head down to ground level so she could hold onto the spikes protruding from his neck and then she walked the length of said neck to her usual seating place.

As always she reached forward and wrapped her hands around the horn in front of her telling Rhaena to do the same. Once the girl complied Aurora told the other three riders to go ahead without them.

Once the other three dragons were in the air, Thanatos shuffled a bit, getting ready for Aurora to tell him what to do.

"Sovegon Thanatos" she said loudly enough for him to hear her (Fly Thanatos).

The large beast stood straight and did a short run up before his wings raised to the sky and he lifted his heavy body into the sky at a speed that was nearly impossible for his body mass.

Rhaena let a shout escape her mouth as she imitated Aurora in front of her and pressed herself close to the dragon's warm scales beneath her.

Once the air stopped rushing at her violently, she looked up from her crouched position.

Baela and the two Targaryen princes watched as the huge black dragon shot into the sky with the speed of a younger dragon before levelling his body in the sky.

Baela smiled as her sister incorporated herself from the position she had been in, leaning on the dragon, and raised her arms to the sky with a smile and a laugh of mirth.

Moondancer glided quickly out of the way of Thanatos as the older dragon let the winds take him higher into the clouds.

Thanatos had been told to go easy and slower on this flight than most. He had smelt the smaller twolegs that had gotten on his back and begrudgingly let her mount him alongside his little one. She was sad.

He wondered if that was why his little one wanted the flight to be easier. Thanatos felt proud of his partner and to have her and she him.

Aurora softly told Thanatos to glide down closer to the water as they soon flew out of DragonStone island, the younger three dragons following at a slower pace as their wings were still many times over smaller than Thanatos' own.

Aurora smiled to herself when she heard Rhaena let out a joyful shout.

A young sailor's son stood at the prow of the boat waiting for his father to raise the nets. While he looked down into the water, a small school of fish swam near the surface. He looked down at the fish as their scales glinted when the sunlight hit them.

Suddenly, they dispersed and a shadow covered the sun from the water's surface. With a paling face the young sailor looked up, a scream ripping free from his mouth.

"Thanatos!" Aurora scolded the dragon as if he were a child and not a fire breathing dragon when he swooped down low as they passed a lone fishing boat.

The scream that had come out of the only visible person on said boat had made Rhaena laugh and the dragon let out several huffing sounds that were similar to an imitated laugh.
