Chapter 44

It's eleven o'clock at night... Everybody went to sleep with worriedness... And eunsae was so tired... She covered herself in two blankets without feeling any comfort or warm... The pain was controling her until she no longer realise anything... The picture of her mother and the smell of her delicious food following her... What happened? Every memory of the past filled her mind...
-"Eunsae... Eunsae..."
Eunsae was hearing a voice... But she couldn't answer it... Who's calling her name? Is it a dream or real? Where am I? Before minute ago I was in home with my mom and uncle Rome... But the voice's still calling... Eunsae was moaning without knowing what is happening... Another voice gathered calling her... And a warm small hand reached her forehead in fear and said:
-"Oh My God... Eunsae my friend you've a fever..."
What? How did that happened?... Vicky hurried up to the dorm supervisor asking her to bring the doctor... It was something difficult... Because the rules of the dorm abandon them from getting out or entering the dorm after 7pm... Vicky was explaining eunsae's condition to the supervisor in a hurry and fear but the supervisor told her in a cold tone to ask permission from the commander... Vicky hid her anger and begged the supervisor to let eunsae see the doctor... The supervisor shoke her head in a No sign to what vicky said... Until she was forced to excuse herself to call the commander... Five or six times but no body answered...it's normal because it's too late and probably no one is awake by now... Vicky decided to risk and call the doctor without any permission but when she heared Ray's voice who saved her in the last minute saying:
-"good evening..."
Vicky couldn't control herself... So she started to cry emptying all her sadness and pain... Then she said stuttering:
-"Ray... Eunsae is so tired and she has a fever... We want to bring the doctor for her... But..."
Ray interupted Vicky quickly saying:
-"okay... I'll be back in a minute..."
And when the clock became 2am everyone was surounding eunsae while she's on her bed in the hospital... Ray... Kangjun... Hyuyoon and her friends... Eunsae opened her eyes like she's seeing shadows that started to get clear infront of her...
She smiled and sighed in pain... Because she understood everything in a minute... Her friends helped her to sit properly but she's still pale and tired... So she said with weakness:
-"thank you all and I'm so sorry to bother you..."
Kangjun came close to her and said smiling:
-"you have to thank me and Ray twice..."
Eunsae sat straightly again and said:
-"why my friend?"
-"because your best friends came because they love you... And we came for two reasons first because we love you too and second because we love your friends too..."
Eunsae laughed with weakness and said:
-"that mean that you do love my friend Hyuyoon..."
-"and I don't love anyone else but her... So so much..."
Everyone in the room laughed while hyuyoon was hiding her smile standing behind the curtains of the dark window... And that made eunsae feel a little bit better then said:
-"but my friend's love is so tiring kangjun..."
-"and I love that tiredness and I love that friend of yours so much..."
Everyone looked at hyuyoon who blushed feeling that she's just met this handsome guy with that strong hidden love from years...
Ray came close to eunsae's bed and said:
-"how do you feel now my friend?"
Eunsae shoke her head comforting him and said:
-"I'm fine now... You can leave because tomorrow is not a holiday like you know..."
Tia interfered saying:
-"it's few days and we start our vacation after three years... And we can sleep whenever we want..."
Eunsae remembered for a moment what happened... But vicky who was sitting beside her holding her hand wanted to change the subject so she said:
-"we won't leave until we check on you and you fell a sleep..."
-"relax I'm fine... Really..."
No one left he hospital before 3am when everyone went to his place even Ray... In half an hour he was in the dorm to be surprised that Maru is waiting for him in anger and nervousness... They looked at eachother while ray greeted him and said with coldness:
-"why you still awake my friend?"
Maru's eyes were controling ray and rejecting his killing silence... So he reached him with anger saying:
-"eunsae is in the hospital and you want me to sleep..."
-"who told you?"
-"it doesn't matter... The important one is eunsae... How is she now?"
Ray smirked looking at Maru with the tip of his eye they said:
-"is she still important to you?"
Maru shout at him when he heard what did he said:
-"ray don't tease me..."
Ray looked at him for the last time while he's tending to sleep saying:
-"I think the hospital is so near you can go and check on her by yourself"
Ray knew exactly that his words won't give maru a chance to sleep this night ever...
The calmness in eunsae's face made hyuyoon happy while she's reaching her hand to wipe on her sleeping friend's forehead with kindness... Eunsae opened her eyes smiling... Hyuyoon smiled back and said with happiness seeing her friend get back to her health again:
-"good morning eunsae..."
Eunsae pulled her hair behind her ear... And shoke her head to the right then the left to breath the clean air around her... Then she sat in her bed... Looking at her friend with happiness and said:
-"Hi Hyuyoon... How are you doing?"
Hyuyoon was watching her friend with sadness hiding her pains and hoping that she's calm like her expression... She sat beside her on the bed and whispered saying:
-"what happened eunsae?"
And without a beggining or an ending... And quickly like the light of dawn the stillness change on eunsae's face to expressions hyuyoon couldn't read it until eunsae looked at her and said:
-"I can't part from the one I love any more my friend..."
-"and who can my friend?"
Eunsae's silence was the answer to hyuyoon's question which she didn't repeat but she whispered saying:
-"why you have to embarress me yesterday infront of everyone?"
Eunsae laughed remembering what she talked with kangjun so she said smiling:
-"did the conversation between us made a conversation between you two?"
-"No... It's not that easy... And stop being naughty..."
Quiet knocks on the door shush them seeing who would be the visitor... Who? For a moment their hearts beated... Each one of them think that it would be their love... And who it was?
-"good morning"
A formal smile with traditional breakfast from the hospital disappointed them... They looked at eachother after hyuyoon recieved it and served it to her friend who rejected it reasoning herself of her wish to prepare herself leaving the hospital...
Hyuyoon took the cup of tea like it's came from hevean... Then she looked to eunsae and said:
-"where do you want to spend your vacation, my friend?"
Eunsae collected her clothes those which she will wear when she leave and went to the bathroom to change her clothes saying:
-"I don't know... Maybe it will begin in the village and end in vicky's wedding... And you?"
Hyuyoon sat on a chair infront of the window and put her legs on eunsae's bed... And said playfully:
-"Me... I don't know... Maybe it will begin in my village and end in vicky's wedding..."
Eunsae stoped for a minute and looked at hyuyoon then they burst out laughing with hidden sadness...
Here she's eunsae got back to the dorm... Which turned to beehive... Everyone busy preparing their luggages... Longing fill their hearts... And smiling filling their faces... Because the day after tomorrow everyone will go to see their loving people... But eunsae who won't get back to her work because of her leaving early from the hospital so she decided to sit watching the girls specialy vicky who was double happy more than the others meeting her family and because her wedding is near...
Eunsae's head was spinning... Because of the girls one is here the other is there... While she's sleeping in her warm bed with her silence smile...
-"eunsae..."
Eunsae looked quickly to Tia who looked at her with longing and love saying:
-"won't you leave with us to the village?"
-"I will... But I'll prepare my luggages tomorrow while you're in the camp woeking..."
Tia felt confused before whispering to eunsae saying:
-"eunsae... Do you know what's the most that make me sad in this vacation is?..."
Vicky interfered saying happily:
-"stop the sad conversation... We have to think that the most beautiful thing in this vacation is that everyone in the camp will come to our village and to my wedding..."
Eunsae and Tia smiled happily imagening that day... Eunsae commented saying:
-"it would be absoloutly the most beautiful day"
Tia nodded agreeing to her friend's words saying:
-"and it would be an amazing day..."
