Kyle wakes up and attempts to sit up, groaning as his sides ache from Mari's odd behavior the night before

Kyle gets up and gets dressed, coming down to see Mario typing on his phone

(Mario)"How's it hanging there?"

(Kyle)"As of right now? Poorly."

(Mario)"What's got you down?"

(Kyle)"Well first I'd like to ask you about Mari, was she being weird? Possibly clingy?"

Mario thinks for a second, setting his phone down as he does

(Mario)"Not at all really, she was pretty focused on the work, though she liked to joke about snuggling when we slept"

(Kyle)"Alrighty then, well she was being both things I asked about"

He says, lifting up his shirt to show the large bruises on his waist

(Mario)"That's, mildly terrifying"

He says, Kyle giving a little laugh

(Kyle)"She insisted on picking me up to put up Winter fest decorations, instead of just using a ladder. Then she didn't want to let me down once, so I tried to wiggle out of her grip, and she just squeezed down Hard"

(Mario)"Damn"

He says, thinking for a moment

(Mario)"I may have only spent a few days with her, but I know for sure that that is Not what she'd do"

(Kyle)"That we agree on. Regardless I need to get ready for the night"

He says, walking over to the fridge and grabbing some food

(Mario)"Try not to get turned into a stress ball again"

(Kyle)"Trust me, that's been priority one since day one"

He says, Mario giving a short chuckle as he goes back to doing whatever on his phone

Kyle grabs an apple and some leftover pancakes, eating both quickly despite the pancakes being cold

(Mario)"You know the microwave is Right there?"

(Kyle)"Eh, they're still good cold you know"

(Mario)"Sure, but that's like cereal in water man. It just isn't right"

(Kyle)"Can't stop me now my friend, foods eaten already"

(Mario)"Still doesn't make it right"

He says, Kyle just shrugging

(Kyle)"Oh well would you look at the wrist, I've got to go to work!"

He says, grabbing his stuff and heading towards the door

Kyle leaves as Mario says his thoughts, the time actually being closer than Kyle liked to when he had to leave

(Kyle)"'You'll still make it on time Kyle, stop stressing for nothing"'

Kyle thinks to himself as he drives off towards the club

Kyle arrives to the club after a short drive and gets out of the car with a quick stretch, walking into the building and sitting down in the office with a yawn

(Kyle)"Wonder how Ibuki's doing actually, I shoulda asked Mario if he'd heard anything weird about her from Riley"

Kyle hears some footsteps on his right and looks over to see Jenna
