Chapter 22: Getting Over It

Wildcat POV

I sit on the floor in Kade's bedroom with a towel over my head, I have my knees to my chest staring at the floor, water falls on my arm from my hair. Their words ring in my ears, over and over again. 'We should kidnap Wildcat'  Why would they want me back after everything? Well, I know why they want me back 'Make him the gangs personal hole'. I hate hearing their voices in my head, why do they have to talk so loud?

From the side of my eye I see Kade emerge from the bathroom, he's on his phone again, he's been on and off his phone since we've gotten back. "Are you sure you don't have anything about this?... So it hasn't been discussed until today?.... Ugh, keep looking into it." Kade hangs up the phone, he walks over and kneels down in front of me. "You know, having wet hair can get you a cold" Kade tells me, he reaches towards my head and I flinch from the though of being touched.

He retracts his hand, I quickly look to the ground, I'm sorry. "Tyler, I know you're going through a lot right now but I don't want you to get sick because you don't want to dry your hair" Kade says, he reaches over to me again. I move my arms to cover my head and shut my eyes, my shaking becomes noticeable, "P.. Please.. V-vanoss, I'm sorry.." I quietly say, my words shakey.

He's going to beat me, I don't want that to happen, should I apologize again? Maybe he just didn't hear me and he's waiting for me to response... Oh I waited to long to respond to him and he's going to get mad at me and and and... 

I feel a body against me, I open my eyes, Kade is holding onto me. "I don't know what happened to you before I met you but all I can say is, I'm here now" Kade reassures me. I begin to cry quietly, the heat of his body is soothing to me, but not enough. "I-I'm sorry V-vanoss" I say, the grip  on my body loosens then tightens back, "Not Vanoss baby, Kade, your Kade, only yours" Kade responds quietly. 

Kade... Mine.. Mine only.. Not Vanoss.

Vanoss POV

A month had gone by since the apparent meeting Moo had set up with Kade, I'm in the training room back at the BBS base. I punch a hanging sandbag, from the sidelines watching me sits Lui. He's mesmerized by me, I grab my towel and wipe the sweat off my forehead. The door opens and Moo stands in the doorway, ever since the whole incident we haven't talked a lot besides the occasional passerby and meeting.

This fucking guy keeps watching me, I walk over to Lui and Moo, Lui quickly stands up "Vanoss that was awesome! I mean with how hard you've been training we might have to get new equipment". I give Lui a smile, his warm words always help keep me distracted from my thoughts.

"Sound like I might have to go easy on em don't I? haha" I joke, I earn a low scoff from Moo. I look at him, he's still leaning in the doorway his eyes are stuck to his phone. Lui turns around and notices Moo behind him, he steps back from me and focus' his eyes on the floor. "Hey Moo" I say, attempting to be nice. Moo gets up from the door and turns to walk away, Lui turns his head to see Moo leaving, "Oh uh, well see you" Lui says. He leaves following behind Moo.

Short time skip

I sit in the medic office looking though a file, 'Tyler, J, Wine' . The door opens, "Aw shit, look Vanoss I know what I said about the herbs but you gotta-" Terroriser stops and looks to the file in my hand. He rushes over to me and takes the file out of my hands and looks it over, he shuts the file and places it back into the file drawer. 

"I can't take this anymore, we're going to call a meeting with Kade and get this whole Wildcat thing figured out" Terroriser says. I whip my head around to look in his direction,  "NO!.. Uh no" I yell out. This is a bit excessive, "MOO, GET IN HERE" Terroriser yells out, "Oh you're just being a dick about this now" I say. Moo walks into the room with Lui following behind, Moo pushes Lui's head out of the room and closes the door behind him.
