At 10:00 am
"get my tea, Dia. Hurry!" yelled Asher. She immediately obeyed. " get in my car, we are having a meeting with Mr. Changretta," he said.
"your car?" she hesitated. "unless you want another car and crash into someone else' " he laughed.
She took her file and got in his car and Asher followed. "you also have a meeting with Mr. Gilbert today, " she put forth he simply nodded.
"Don't you have any friends or family to make an effort to find where you are," he said.
"I think you already know sir,"
He checked all of her records, she shifted London a few months before and she hardly made any friends, and there was no mention of her any family members. She is either orphan or there's big story about her which he is still missing but his men are still figuring out everything they can about her.

"where are we exactly having this meeting?" she asked.
"on my ship" he said. He owned at least five big ships. "wow, I have never been to one. It's one of my wish on my bucket list," she beamed but he didn't show any emotion.

"Mr. Changretta, thank you for coming, shall we start our meeting?" Asher asked shaking hands with Mr. Changretta.
He waved them to follow him on his ship, the moment Dia stepped on the trail to ship her heels slipped making her wince but instead of feeling the hard ground she felt two strong arms grabbing her to stabilize. Asher caught her, he looked at her chestnut brown eyes with his icy metal blue ones. She felt butterflies in her stomach just from his mere touch.

"Don't be too excited, watch your steps," he said. The whole meeting she couldn't concentrate, her mind was too busy watching the waves falling and rising and his arms wrapped around her. She shouldn't think like that a couple of days before he was ready to kill her without any second thoughts, she shouldn't be so soft enough.

The meeting was over now.

"I have to pick up Jax," he said. He picked up from his kindergarten, she saw him holding Jaxon in his arms while all the single ladies starting at him. Jaxon waved a little hey towards Dia but immediately stopped when he saw his daddy.

"I should go back," said Dia. Jaxon would have wanted to sit on the first seat with his dad.
"it's alright!" he said and strapped him in the backseat.

"dadddyyyyyy" Jaxon said. He always did that when he wanted something.
"what is it?" Asher asked.
"I'm hungry, we should go to the new restaurant" he suggested.
"not today, son." he refused.
"no please, I'm hungry, look at my stomach it's empty, can you see it? Please." Jaxon went on. Asher looked at Dia and she gave him an "okay" look. All of them went to restaurant. Dia was quiet all along, while Jaxon kept on talking and talking. Sometimes he asked so many questions that neither of them had answers.

"what do you want?" he asked.
"I want burger!"
"Dia?" to her surprise he asked her too.
"I'll have burger too." she winked at Jaxon who gave her a warm smile. She could tell he already liked her.
"waiter, three burgers here." The workers immediately left their work and noted everything what Asher said as if they were afraid of him. They got their orders before everyone. One of the perks of being a mafia leader.

Asher asked him about how his day went and started feeding him the burger, guess he can do that too.
"wait here baby, I have to attend this call, Dia watch over him." she nodded.

After fifteen minutes of talking he came back already knowing that Jax will be pissed at him for making him wait for so long. But he witnessed something else...

Dia was feeding him and he was reacting to her as excitedly as they are best friends. Dia was smiling widely, she was glowing for the first time since she got here. They were talking like old buddies. Asher waited there for few minutes more and saw them enjoying each other. And when they were finally finished with the burgers he came back.

"good boy," he said patting his head when he showed his empty plates but made a frown face when he told that he ate his burger too.

"let's get you home, shall we?"

He dropped Dia at the office and took him home. Dia came back smiling like an idiot how good a day it was! He was not rude to her, she might survive this alive only to find out Mr. Changretta's file was missing.
